I felt raimi Spider-Man is more powerful than this one but then again this Spider-Man is younger.

Well yeah' he's just starting out. If any of us got bitten by a genetically altered Spider today we wouldn't be experts at webswinging and fighting huge strong Lizards by tomorrow. Tobey got his ass handed to him more painfully by Goblin than Andrew did, they both had to learn the ropes in the first film.

just saw it today myself. Man, it was very meh for me. Many of the scenes didn't flow well and looked out of place. I really disliked the CGI Lizard, as I knew I would from the day I first saw it. He should've been more menacing and I really didn't have any feelings for any of the characters except Gwen, but only cause she's cute. The transformed Lizard cops didn't even do anything, so that was dissapointing.

I can't believe there were ppl in this thread saying this would top Avengers or TDKR, it didn't even come close. I'd give it a 7, maybe 7.5. Glad I didn't pay for this one.

Pretty high rating for not liking it. And karamazo's rating is pretty low for saying its good.

I haven't given a number rating to this. As a teacher, my instinct would be to give it a zero for plagiarism

Yea, even though I didn't like it, it wasn't necessarily a bad movie, it was just average to me. How about a letter grade of C then? Like you said, it basically feels a lot like something we already saw from raimi, just a slightly different story and style.
