Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

I have a hard time imaginig Ant-Man and Wasp being good candidates for the big screen. Maybe they could make 1" tall characters cool to watch, but I have my doubts. Definitely love to see Ultron though.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

Edgar Wright is pretty committed to doing an Ant Man movie whenever Marvel decides to give it the green light. He wrote a script for it around 2008 and last I heard it was still on the back burner but not forgotten.

have nothing to add that hasn't been said, by I don't care, went to the early bird (thank God, place was packed when coming out), loved it. Nothing bad to say about it, just wished we would've gotten a little for info about the enemy not named Loki. I always loved it when Stark would make light of a serious situation. As great as Hulk was all the time, just love all of Starks lines.

Just got back from seeing The Avengers. It was awesome. :rock

The post credits scene was great. :lol

It's on yet another draft. Something about it keeps getting kicked back. Originally Ant-Man from what I read was supposed to be lodged between Thor and Iron Man 2 with Ant-Man rejoining at The Avengers but obviously that was scrapped. Wright recently said that Marvel Studios is looking at his film as a standalone at this point since everything else is moving at a faster pace.

Saw it last night in regular 2d was aswome. Seeing it again tonight Amc have Imax and ETX in 2d for a limited time Hell yea baby

An Ant-Man film by Wright would be interesting, for sure. I still wanna see that happen. It won't be easy to pull off, though. You're talking about easily one of the most unlikeable "heroes" in all of comics in Hank Pym. And I'm not just referring to the infamous slap. He's pretty much a ****** all around. But that's also what could make that interesting, and certainly different.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

This was my first 3D experience and it may be my last. Movie was good, and the 3D was nifty for about 15 min. But it got old and distracting quick. Maybe if i was a youngin and was stoned and was like cooooooooooooool ahhhhhhhhhhhhh whoa maaaaaaan i'd be more into it. But i was not too impressed. I actually thought the Spider-Man scenes from the trailer jumped out a bit more. Still, i dunno if i'll even see that in 3D.

3D sucks. Toy Story 3D was my first and last. Hulk Smash.
