Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

I am not sure if somebody has posted this yet. I thought it was pretty funny eventhough I know he was an Avenger an one point.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

I would love to see Spiderman in a future Avengers film. Please please let the legal $h!t get sorted so it can happen.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

Well, almost an Avenger at one point . . .

(I sure hope Sony sells the Spidey rights back to Marvel )

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

They wont. They'll keep rebooting the franchise until the end of time.

Have you seen reports on Sony's balance sheet lately?

They're hemorrhaging.

They aren't going to last anywhere near the end of time.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

This was my first 3D experience and it may be my last. Movie was good, and the 3D was nifty for about 15 min. But it got old and distracting quick. Maybe if i was a youngin and was stoned and was like cooooooooooooool ahhhhhhhhhhhhh whoa maaaaaaan i'd be more into it. But i was not too impressed. I actually thought the Spider-Man scenes from the trailer jumped out a bit more. Still, i dunno if i'll even see that in 3D.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

I actually found the Spider Man trailer unwatchable in 3D. Literally. I thought for a minute something was happening to my eyes but once Avengers started the 3D looked okay. Not worth the premium, but not assaulting my eyes like the Spidey trailer.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

I watched again today with the family. I love the film the experience wasn't the same as the midnight showing. Most jokes, jabs etc. went unnoticed whereas at the midnight showing everyone knew what was going on.

The movie experience with a bunch a nerds at 12:01 am is far greater than with the poo poo general audience :rock

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

Second viewing is about to start. I think I'm even more excited for this the second time. :rock

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

Spidey is a current member of the Avengers. Marvel Universe Wiki - Avengers

Spidey is actually a member of The Avengers, The New Avengers, The Future Foundation and even dabbles in The Secret Avengers and is an honorary teacher and chaperoned professor of The Avengers Academy. The only one stretched thinner is Wolverine.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

Another in favour here of adding spidey to the team eventually. Can't have Stark stealing all the good quips:rock

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

Mark Ruffalo's Banner stole the show for me. Loved every minute, but the part I expected to like the least (Ruffalo), I ended up loving the most.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

Back from my third viewing. It's still awesome.
