Did anyone else notice that the facility where SHIELD was studying the Tesseract had a "Project: PEGASUS" sign?

Upon the second viewing this movie is just simply a great movie. I truly a great movie. I just had so much fun seeing it again and my folks both had a real blast. Which just made it a really fun time.

That's awesome. One of the things I loved about it is that my wife, who does not read comics but has seen the Marvel movies leading up to this, was just as into it and blown away as I was. Usually I feel bad dragging her to genre stuff but she's ready to go see Avengers again. :yess:

Open Spoilers!! :panic:

Pretty sad they killed Coulson, I have a feeling Hill is def going to take his spot in upcoming Marvel films.

Nice to see Pepper and Tony being in a serious relationship, I wouldn't be surprised if they were already married by the time Iron Man 3 rolls out.

Hulk punching Thor was hilarious, their whole fight was epic.

So Thanos deal is that he's destroying worlds because he is in love with Death incarnate and trying to impress her or something? Can someone explain that to me?

Thanos knocked out Galactus, must've been valentine's day. :lol

took my kids to see it today. The older of my two daughters is a seriously girly girl. She surprised me tonight by asking to see it again.

I am jonesing hard for the bluray, now.

There was a line that has been mentioned very little that I found to be the best line in the movie...but I'll be damned if I can remember what it was.

Edit - Bring on Avengers 2!!!

And I am OK if they stop making stand-alone movies for the individual heroes in order to get more Avengers out. I want one every two years for at least ten years.

Three favorite parts (out of so many good scenes):

Thor clocking Hulk with Mjolnir early in their fight on the Helicarrier

Hulk smashing puny god

Thanos appearance...my favorite Marvel villain (obviously, see my avatar). Though I don't understand why it looked like he had a flesh-colored hand. His face looked spot on.

It's nice to know you're a next-level geek among your theater, when you're the only one going "YES!" during the Thanos reveal.

Also, I guess I shouldn't have gone by the advice of the board, and not stayed until the end. Not that it seems I missed much, at least.

Pretty sad they killed Coulson

But does anyone really die in the comics? :wink1:

Three points:

1> We never saw a funeral, and it was already established that Fury would deceive and manipulate the team to achieve his objectives.
(Stark: "He's the original spy.")

2> Coulson acknowledges that a transformative event needed to occur to get the team to bond.

3> Stark made a passing reference to an LMD (Life Model Decoy) earlier with Pepper . . . maybe that's what Loki impaled? :dunno

I didn't mean hate from this board, other places are bashing it.
Don't get me wrong,I've been waiting for this movie to come out since I collected comics as a kid.
I loved it!

Indeed :duff

Yeah, I do feel pretty lucky to be honest. Both my parents at different times have been to comic-con with me and have enjoyed it. My Dad especially has really gotten into all of this and actually knows a little bit of the info to be able to talk with folks on the subject.

Looking back on the scene where Harry Dean Stanton (as a security guard) finds Banner:
Stanton says (paraphrasing) 'I found you here buck naked... and green. I got you some pants, but I thought had to wait for you to change back to fit.'

The key thing here is he knew Hulk was going to turn into Banner. Did I miss something where the general public became aware of the full nature of the Hulk?

Why didn't The Hulk do the Thunder Clap move?
You know when slaps his hands together and makes the sonic wave?
Did he do that in any of the 2 Hulk movies?
That would have been cool.

Can anyone tell me what Stan Lee said in his cameo? I couldn't understand it or I don't remember.. :lol
