The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread- Open SPOILERS -enter at own risk!

After seeing the Avengers for the third time...I have to say it's still awesome!

I really think Hemsworth, Hiddleston, and Evans' acting was GREATLY improved in The Avengers, also.

I never thought Hiddleston and Hemsworth's portrayal of Loki and Thor lived up to the hype in Thor, but I believed every bit of it in The Avengers..

You know you have a winner of a movie on your hands when the complaints about it are so minor.

Yeah, I'm complaining that Thor didn't have enough to do when we got:

-Awesome entrance in the lightning storm to kidnap Loki.
-Good scene with Loki on the mountaintop.
-Terrific fight scene with Iron Man.
-Slow motion leap at Captain America with hammer vs. shield impact.
-"He's adopted."
-Brief moment where he checks on Jane's safety shows he cares.
-Thor vs. Hulk!
-His confidence as he stretches out his hand and waits for Mjolnir--the audience starts to laugh because it isn't showing up, but Thor doesn't stress. Then the crowd cheers when he hammers Hulk in the head.
-Limbo under the airplane wing.
-Drama when he's the one who has to helplessly watch Coulson die.
-His escape from the falling, spinning prison.
-Holding up his hammer and summoning his full armor suit amidst the lightning.
-His fight with Loki atop Stark Tower.
-Bringing down an entire wave of aliens with his lightning attack atop the skyscraper.
-His shared moment of exhaustion in the midst of battle with Captain America.
-Fighting alongside Hulk, hammering down the piece that Hulk smashed into the top of the ship.
-Sucker punch! That only worked because Thor is powerful enough to take it.

So he had plenty of good moments in Avengers. But I'm still looking forward to seeing him take center stage again in Thor 2.

Dad and I are going to try and see it a third time in a couple weeks. We've got tickets to Battleship next week but the following weekend will be another let's go see The Avengers one last time in theaters.

Finally got to see this for a second time and it was just as great. This is something I am going to watch the crap out of when its available on BluRay.

So much small, but oh so great things happening in this movie.

Yeah, I was waiting for the old Lloyd Bentson line, "Howard Stark was a friend of mine. . .and you, Tony, are no Howard Stark." But of course, to do that would put egg on Tony's face, so there wasn't any chance of that!

But you forgot just 2.

Thor's bad ass landing onto a battle damaged nyc street alongside his fellow Avengers.

Him leading away a muzzled Loki.

moment.

Hulk smashing Loki is first for Hulk moment.

I think my favorite Hulk moment was when him and Thor were standing there basking in victory and Hulk just hauls off and slugs him just for the hell of it. Just announces Yes! I'm helping you, but I'm still the Hulk, don't stand too close. Shows the split I am a hero with a good soul, but I'm always angry.

I have to admit I'm curious how you can only give this movie a 7 and be all over that absolute waste of a of time Ang Lee Hulk.

The ONLY real problem I have with this film (the alien portal controversy doesn't really bother me too much)

Is this line:

"Hey, I heard all about your accident, that much gamma radiation.... should have killed you."

RDJ just delivered it in a really perky, cheerleader non stark type of way.

Other than that, this movie ____ing rocks!

Not too much of a complaint but it's the only part that really took me out of the movie.

1. Hulk smash Loki.
2. Hulk changing to Hulk nyc street.
3. Hulk sucker punching Thor
