Broke and happy
Yeah, I thought that was pretty cool.
Tell him Josh.
Wait, The Josh.

Batman should have been at the very end of the credits, randomly eating shawarma with them.
Tell him Josh.
Wait, The Josh.

Great list you remembered!
But you forgot just 2.
Thor's bad ass landing onto a battle damaged nyc street alongside his fellow Avengers.
Him leading away a muzzled Loki.
My name's Josh.
But physical strength doesn't have much to do with lifting Mjolnir, right? At least, that wasn't the case in the comics. Cap wielded it oncePlus, seeing massively strong Hulk straining to lift Mjolnir and failing just underscores Thor's power. Hulk was used several times that way--to remind us that Thor is at or above his level of strength.
Right, it's about more than that. My daughter turned to me and said, "The Hulk isn't worthy."
I also loved the shot after Captain America gives them their orders and Thor spins his hammer and takes off. To me, it would be easy to say "Thor can fly." It's more interesting that he throws his hammer and hangs on while it takes him for a ride.
It was great when Thor flipped the car and took out several aliens. I overlooked that in my list. Also, when he threw Mjolnir and started talking to Cap, and you can just make out the sound of more aliens getting clobbered in the distance, then it returns to him. Kind of cooler than if the camera had followed the hammer, because it shows that Thor is taking out the enemy even while he's taking a short break and encouraging his comrade.
Plus, seeing massively strong Hulk straining to lift Mjolnir and failing just underscores Thor's power. Hulk was used several times that way--to remind us that Thor is at or above his level of strength. Blocking Hulk's punch and holding him back while trying to reason with him--Thor is the only character in the movie who is Hulk's equal. (Unless he lets his guard down, lol.)
Like an onion.
I have to admit I'm curious how you can only give this movie a 7 and be all over that absolute waste of a of time Ang Lee Hulk.

I guess because I prefer my movies with more thought than pow pows, and I think "all over" is a bit of a stretch. Ironically though the Hulk saved this entire film. With the exception of RDJ doing his thing as usual, every good moment, every good piece of dialogue, every good character interaction all revolved around Banner/Hulk and he wasn't in it enough. Even in terms of the story they built up more tension of when the Hulk was going to show up than the coming invasion and when the planet was finally invaded the only tension was still, when is the Hulk going to show up. It gets a solid C, so I didn't think it was bad. I'd rank it behind Iron Man as Marvel's second best.
