What entices viewers to go see a film like Battleship? I mean, honestly, WTF? Can't people tell the difference between ____ and ____ covered in special effects?

I'm also annoyed at these people posting spoiler tags that say: RIP Coulson. He's a fictional movie character for christs sake! And all these people getting pissed at the writing team for killing him off. Someone had to die. Simple fact. You need that catalyst to get the characters stirred up. But I am so sick of people mourning his ____ing death as if it's real life. Christ have mercy. Some people......

You are a very angry man. You need a cookie.

I'll be seeing Battleship because it looks like a good time and there are a few people who have seen advanced showings and said it was great.

Some jerk off spoiled the ending of Battleship for me. The last line isn't "you sunk my battleship." I don't think I need to see it anymore.

Battleship reminds me of Skyline, Battle L.A., and the Transformers movies so far, from the trailers. Which were all terrible.

The worst for me was reading in his *authorized* biography that after the success of Titanic he went to his high school reunion and told off the jocks that used to beat him up how they can suck it and bow down to him or whatever.

Wow dude, you're seriously that petty and want everyone to know it? :lol

He also took the time to give Harlan Ellison another shoutout about how pissed he was that he sued to get his name into the credits for the first Terminator. Geez man, let it go.

Actually, I would have no problem with him tearing down the jocks if they indeed beat him up in high school. I'd rub it in their faces too, but he seems to want to do that to everybody now.

Hard to give the benefit of the doubt to a film like BATTLESHIP, though. It really does look like the same loud, soulless crap we've seen a zillion times now.

Nothing could convince me to see Battleship. It's Transformers without the Transformers.

No thanks.

I have absolutely nothing against Battleship. But I spent my Battleship money watching Avengers for the 5th time.
