I fear that Avengers 2 will have a fraction of the current movie's charm since Marvel will likely be looking for a cheaper alternative to RDJ. :(

What makes you say that? Is he already asking for more money? He might be better off taking a percentage. That's what Johnny Depp usually does.
 
I would almost bet that's what he will do when time comes. They both know how important they are to each other.

Doesn't really matter what Marvel is looking for. If Disney sees RDJ as a cash cow, they'll fire anyone in the Marvel branch that doesn't see things there way, so...

saw the movie, loki escaping on a truck was gangsta.

never liked sam jackson as nick fury, think thats just me. i especially didnt like the smearing trading cards on blood for effect was kinda suck

the flying ship reminded me of stark treck down to the uniforms.

the 10 dollar bet was funny

RDJ is looking at a 50 million payday min. at this point thanks to his savy agent who opted for a percentage.
 
Saw this movie a 5th time the other day. I must say, despite all of the awesome action and hilarious lines, the "there are always men like you" scene is one of my favorite moments. That old guy :rock 's

I want a HT figure of him :lol

I can't believe the sheer number of times some people are going to see this. What a testament to this movies rewatchability. :clap
