I would never rip off someone for their contributions to my business. Especially if said contributions led to a huge financial success. They'd be right there with me enjoying the ride. All this talk about loyalty, but you're forgetting Marvel's showed him none whatsoever.

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl
You read what you want, stay ignorant man. I'm sure every company stays loyal to employees that ____ them over repeatedly and jump from company to company for the quickest buck.

marvel showed him no loyalty? what about rehiring him over and over when he would ____ them as he went out the door each time. they TRIED to make it work with the man.

I doubt anyone posting on this forum knows all the ins and outs that led to the apparent enmity between Kirby and Marvel. Both parties were probably at fault to one extent or another.

You mean like when he left after secretly negotiating a DC contract and didn't give one bit of notice? His version not Marvels. :lecture

Deservedly so. They were raking in the dough on his name recognition and hard work. This is why I say, if you're extremely successful you don't butt____ those who got you there. You make sure they're right there with you. A happy Kirby never would've left. But why should an unhappy, abused Kirby stick around to a company that isn't even loyal to him let alone showing appreciation for him basically being their personal ATM?

No one but the people involved, but the only story you hear is Kirby's side and people run with it. There are factual things like pay records, court records, etc..

Except theres proof of all the stupid ____ he did, theres no proof of him being abused by marvel, DC, or the tons of other companies that apparently wronged him except what he says. Hell, when he left, he had a % of Cap revenues and Cap was taking off. Stupid move 1 in what became a pattern for the man.

I get that you support Kirby and thats not going to change, good for you, but I still don't understand why you blame Stan Lee for any of this? :dunno

They've been purchasing the distribution rights like crazy and it paid off with Avengers. Not sure what all they've got tho.

I don't know that I would say it wasn't good, but I enjoyed it in 2D alot more.

I found the action in the final battle easier to follow in the 3D. It just made the little alien assault crafts pop that much more from the background.
Not that the 2D version is that hard to follow. It's very well done.
I just think the 3D added to it.
