Hell yeah! :yess: :hi5:

The Avengers is like the child that you knew had potential and has achieved it. TDKR is like the child who was great and doing fantastic but suddenly decided they were going to change majors to Art History and backpack through Europe instead of entering Medical School. It still has me scratching my head.

Well, now that you put it that way. :lol

And Prometheus is the ugly kid who wants people to befriend them, but everyone is turned off by them.

So I will be his friend. Poor ugly little Prometheus. He talks about a lot of cool stuff. :(

Sadly, some are already debunking this. It started as a speculative rumor on comicbookmovie.com then got contorted and out of hand and reported as fact when it's not (at least not officially). Disney/Marvel have denied it (not that that really seals the deal, though... they lie all the time).

Then again, this is the age of meta. Maybe such a rumor (and fans reacting to it) might spur Disney to actually do it. But I kinda doubt it. Hope I'm wrong, though. F Titanic in its stern.

Hmm. Not even out yet and the reviews are already rolling in. :lol

If the is a directors cut released i hope it has more Hulk footage, he really made the film stand out for me. He was part of the 4 best scenes for me, the Thor fight, I'm always Angry, fighting on the creatures back then punching Thor out of the scene and finally the Puny God scene. Best live action Hulk to date by far. I think he came across as having the attitude of EMH Hulk without the talking.

Articles I've read said that Disney or Marvel won't comment either way about it. Maybe this was thrown out there just to see if there was a fan reaction?

I can't believe that got spanked by Madagascar 3. :monkey1

I can. It's a kids/family movie.

:lecture Kids sell tickets like nobody else. You figure one kid can bring in 1-2 adults each. Sell them on a movie and you got 3 tickets sold instead of one.

Plus Prometheus is rated R. That is pretty much guarantees to cut your profits in half if it were rated PG-13. And sadly Prometheus was a soft R. Easily could have been PG-13 with minor editing.

True or not, I really hope this gets a director's cut release in theaters. I'd like to see Cameron knocked off his high horse not once, but twice :lol

I completely AGREE! I'll be seeing the re-release if it does happen! Fingers crossed for more cool Hulk scenes! :goodpost::clap

I get that, but nevertheless it was essentially spanked by a second sequel, a movie that for all intents and purposes, should've gone straight to DVD. It's like the box office just tossed a $50 on the dresser and bailed on Prometheus. It got no love. :lol

Crap. You made a good point. Oh well. :gah:

But maybe they've taken some of the money they've earned and finished off some of the effects to Ut more Hulk in. They may have had the storyboards etc done but not the cash, but they've got loads of dosh now to complete those scenes.
