So I heard on the radio that Marvel is thinking of releasing the directors cut of Avengers in August. Anyone else know about this?

Yeah, the rumor is old news by now. Last I heard Marvel/Disney had no comment on it. If they do release it, it's going to be a "director's cut" in name only. We've already seen Whedon's director's cut.
