Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

How will this work for Captain America in modern times,i know little about captain america and the avengers but isn't Captain America supposed to be like 94 years old in the new movie?

Here lies the answer to your question..

Captain America gets frozen at the end of his movie, and is unfrozen in our time.

I guessed it would be something like that,or time travel or a serum that stops the aging process(With a superhero it can be just about anything even if it's stupid).

Yeah, I really like the way they handled it though..

Go see the damn movie, it's awesome.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

After Avengers, do they all get a stand alone film, then avengers 2? I'm sure I'll really enjoy the movie, the only concern i have is the new Hulk.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

thor 2 and cap 2 are already in the works (very early still) as is a hulk movie rumored. I would bet that we will likely see a Fury/BW/Hawkeye movie down the road as well

As is Iron Man 3. These series of films look like they are going to be part of the greatest series of movie EVER !!!!

It's all of those really.

The Super Soldier Serum effects Cap completely on the molecular level which means it ages him slower and upon being in suspended animation it stops the aging process completely. So essentially you have all three.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

Your metabolism drops with inactivity. It would be at a halt with no food intake or anything along those lines because his body would go into salvation mode. Now theoretically he should have died from starving to death but in the comics his state of suspended animation mixed with the reaction of the SSS preserves his body like being encased in amber or something like that and once he is thawed out his body continues to function normally.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

in case someone doesnt know what happens to Cap, I dont want to spoil the end of the movie for them. Someone the other day asked how Avengers is going to work with Cap being about 94 years old lol
