Forgot about the Dol Goldur battle. Man, that was incredible. Elrond and Saruman's moves were choreographed insanely well.

And yeah, the armor/weapons on the 9 men were really cool. I kept hoping we'd get better looks at them during the fight.

I wonder if Weta would consider making them in statue form.

Legolas Super Mario'ing it on the boulders was silly, not even sure physics would allow that to happen, as his weight would just push the boulders down, speeding their fall. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I remember reading somewhere that PJ planned on releasing a big box set of all the films and that he was going to add more scenes to the original films... Sooooo You might want to wait for that set...

I heard the same thing. If that's the case, I'm sure more info will come about November of next year. I waited for the Bo's set of LOTR so I think I can wait on the Hobbit.

While The Hobbit is not as good as LOTR I can't believe some are literally calling it trash. Have fans become so jaded and fickle these days that almost everything is considered crap? Look at this forum and pick a thread. How many films are liked by the vast majority vs how many are ripped to shreads by dozens of wanna be Internet comedians? Yeah, it's me bitching about people who ***** again, but for crying out loud I can't believe how many people seem to hate everything now.
