No I don't. SSC is it's own business and can set the rules to the game anyway they want. I know if I don't purchase this piece that it will have no impact on SSC. However, if enough people show their digust with open ES, SSC may at least start thinking about the topic.

All that said, I collect for myself. If I don't like a business strategy I have the right not to support that business. It's a matter of principle more than trying to get SSC to change their modus operandi. I love my SSC pieces. I will keep the ones that I truly love and move on. It's not a threat. It's simply a fact. SSC is always free to run their business the way they want. I realize that. I just won't support it.

At $650 apiece, this will be limited, because not many people will buy one at that price. Definitely not more than 5500, and likely less than 3300.
Possibly less than 2200.

Exactly. It really is that simple for me. I will not PO this maquette. SSC will not see any money from me on this or any other open ES pieces. If they trend to open ES on all or most of their pieces eventually, I'm out. It's not a threat, just a decison on my part not to support open ES pieces.

The Avengers fad will go away soon enough. I highly doubt SS is going to Open Edition Sizes for their real PF statues. This is a side experiment that Legacy comes out with every few years. This is not a hulk statue in my opinion. It is Mark Ruffalo in a hulk costume. The statue is not bad, but all of you ripping on people who did not order is hilarious. Keep justifying the $650 price tag to yourself when you have to sell it for $300 in a couple of years. If you love it congrats, but please don't act like you are getting a "grail" hulk.
