Action Figure The Mandalorian- 1:6 Remnant Stormtrooper

I won't buy 3000 of the same stormie, however I am itching to get another trooper, and this one is unique enough to do the trick.

The trooper in the show are not the Rogue One troopers as far as I can tell. I understand Hot Toys re-using the RO trooper for their release, but it will keep me from buying it.

I love the look of these guys. I ordered two.

The Mandalorian in original costume surrounded by two or three of these guys would make a pretty cool display. Then use the Beskar version to display with the rest of the team.

I wish they had gone for a 2-pack with these. Different deco would have been appreciated to flank Mando.

Honestly the best case scenario for me would be for them to release "The Client" and then I would have two of these flanking him. I have my doubts though that HT will ever get to that character with all the possibilities they have. Without a doubt we'll see a re-issue of Death Troopers and I'm sure clean Stormtroopers too.

I was wondering about this myself. Seems like the perfect opportunity to rerelease them.

Its still way early to say. But I strongly believe new DTs are inevitable, same for the scout trooper with iconic speeder bike.

When I saw the scouts in the newest ep, the first thing I thought of was how Hot Toys snuck the ESB release of the Snowtroopers out alongside the video game series release. They could easily do the same wit the scouts. Do a Mando release and just box another set as ROTJ.

Scout troopers also make their apperances in recent SW: Fallen Order video game, which seems to be a hit. More resonable excuses to reinforce their decision to release the Scout.

Yeah. As it is, they are next to worthless when displaying more than one, as they will all have the same scuffs and marks.
If they had two different figures in a two pack, and each one had two different helmets, each with different marks, that would have been the best option.

They'll release them when Krennic releases from Hong Kong. People will have Krennic paid off and will be ready to buy a DT.

I think this might be the first trooper I pass on. Just to lazy a release with the single decal version (these guys need to be a pair at minimum) and the poorer rogue one version of the armour. Multiples for a display will look bad, and it's not a spotlight figure on it's own. Shame as I suspect these will not do that well and we know how HT will interpret that. This figure hurts the chances for more Mandalorian figures. I suspect the heavy armour fig isn't doing to well either as Star Wars collectors are not Iron man collectors. With potential tanking of the "easy money" figures, I have low hopes for the production of the human characters at this point. Hope I'm wrong.

I think these are doing pretty well. I totally agree that there should be different weathering patterns. I think human characters with head sculpts were always low for this series. I just want the Scout and Incinerator (if he shows up).

Same armour as Rogue One and Solo, but in the Mandalorian there are now 2 buckets: a tweaked ANH-style used on Grandpa Herzog?s guards and for the odd close-up on Gideon?s stormtroopers, and the Rogue One bucket seen in that film and Solo. Which brings us up to:

Rogue One Update
Mandalorian Hero (which is an updated ANH Stunt)

6 variants for one helmet. Gotta love the Star Wars.

Interesting. Are the close up ones for Herzog's guard asymmetrical? I cant tell

But whoever weathered them for the show did an amazing job.
