But whoever weathered them for the show did an amazing job

There were a lot of clean Rogue One helmets used in the final ep of Mando, ironically none of the rusty looking "remnant" troopers have that helmet, they have some new variation on the ANH stunt design. Hot Toys is just milking the market and reusing their R1 trooper. That's fine, it's what companies do, but the R1 helmet is not this trooper, so it's an easy pass for me.

I noticed that the back of the uniforms didn’t have the rogue one hole on the back shoulder. I wonder if they jus made all together new armor

Well apparently a lot of those Stormtroopers were members of the 501st, so not really surprising that those fans would favor the ANH helmet.

A lot of the extra troopers were made up of the fan trooper group the 501st, so they wouldn't have R1 type armor. There were many close up/hero shots of the R1 troopers among Moff Gideon's troops. None of the rusty troopers that were with Werner Herzog were R1 troopers nor were they 501st. They were new helmets as far as I can tell along with R1 body armor, or slightly modified R1 armor.

Yeah, the Deathtroopers came with the Moff. They were squeaky clean. That being said, I have no doubts that if HT can make money by simply putting out the same thing they will. Look at the other lines. You've got Spider-Man: Homecoming re-releases with less things included simply because they were included in the new film for a few minutes.

Some screens of the Remnant Stormtrooper. You can see they are using the Rogue One body armor, but they have fabricated a new ANH stunt style helmet. I have no idea why they did this, but it's obvious now they went out of their way to give these guys the distinct ANH helmets, as the Stormtroopers used by Moff Gideon are all R1 helmets. (with the exception of 501st extras)

I?m just one that can?t tell the main difference overall lol. I can between the RoTJ versions and these due to the color the lenses but that?s about it. I can see a few differences but nothing major enough for me to say no. This figure for me doesn?t have to be 100% since to me I see these troopers as ones that took the pieces the could get their hands on.

Same....it looks, talks and shoots like a storm trooper......it's a storm trooper.
