Sorry, I should have cited examples:

Vasyl Lomachenko (male) at 130-135 has the skill and the experience to knock out a huge lumbering dude. Yes, huge lumbering dude poses a threat but less so if he's not on that elite level.

We can assume that Cara Dune is elite.

In 2008 Carano weighed in at around 144 pounds. I'm sure that at that weight her *character* can put some yokel tough guy to sleep, and in real life? The possibility is absolutely there.

Don't believe me? Find someone trained, talented and experienced who's smaller than you and let them hit ya right on the button. :rotfl

So basically this 140 pound will only run into big men who have no idea how to fight. Got it.

That guy you mentioned just give up his belt to duck a fight with a 20 year old kid.

We were talking about the bar fight.

As for the rest of it, this is a fantasy. I haven't seen her character doing anything completely implausible *within the context of that fantasy*.

In this genre, certain unbelievable things are axiomatic and taken as given: the Force, heroes not getting fatally shot when in dire situations, being able to tank punches from characters further down the narrative hierarchy. Anything else within that framework is fair play.

If she was a waif-y supermodel with stick arms beating on that guy it might break my suspension of disbelief, but she has enough physicality to pull it off so game on.

Obviously YMMV.

Yeah, the Deathtroopers came with the Moff. They were squeaky clean. That being said, I have no doubts that if HT can make money by simply putting out the same thing they will. Look at the other lines. You've got Spider-Man: Homecoming re-releases with less things included simply because they were included in the new film for a few minutes.

One thing we know for sure is that, when a figure starts selling for more than twice it's original RRP, Hot Toys step in with a re-release to garner some more of that cash for themselves.
I feel confident that we will get more Death Troopers, and this time with a Mandalorian Boxing.

More Rogue One Stormtroopers.
Here's some R1's with the Deathtrooper that I'm 95% sure was a woman.

I said that same thing to my wife. Very slender shoulders on that one.

This is no ordinary female: this is a Mandalorian. If she were just some rando female standing around with no combat training, no weapons and no armor I'd agree with you.

IIRC these people start their training at like, 4 years old.

I would buy an armorer figure in a heartbeat. She is not overpowered.

EDIT: I think Malgus just enjoys being a contrarian. No matter what the subject, he hates it.

Just put him on ignore. It's just trolling. Nearly every post seems to be made to annoy someone. Better to not see the posts, in my opinion.

Mama Mando beat those stormy's to a pulp with the tools of her trade and her blacksmith forged guns. Guarantee you if you are walloped with a blacksmiths tools you are going down and not getting back up no matter what your size. Plus the Stormies where at a disadvantage being in armour as concussive weapons do far more damage to armoured adversaries.

Also, canon in the Star Wars universe "size matters not" :lecture

I kid, I kid. Of course size matters, but it's just one of many factors.

I see it funny fans tearing SW down and expect it to be 100% compliant with all sciences (from physics to human psychology). SW is fantasy, not even sci-fi. Those who seek hard core reality can watch excellent documentaries by BBC.

You are ignoring the fact they were soldiers with guns trained to shoot who then allowed a single someone to club a bunch of them to death.

All stormtroopers in SW suck. They couldn’t shoot for **** in the OT, can’t shoot for **** in the ST, couldn’t shoot for **** in R1, and apparently can’t shoot for **** in The Mandalorian, either. And, as established in the OT, they can be incapacitated by simply getting knocked down or hit with rocks, even while wearing armor.

I’m starting to think it’s just part of SW humor now.

Yeah, it's always been a pet peeve of mine that the baddies are usually bumbling fools. I mean, what is the point of having baddies if they really aren't a threat? But hey, it's entertainment, so I just enjoy the pretty pictures and move on...
Having said that, it's interesting to note that the Stormtroopers (and Imperial forces in general) were fearsome in ANH. They kicked ass in the Tantive IV, they executed Luke's family, massacred an entire Jawa transport and almost won the Yavin Battle (I mean, how many rebels got away? Luke, Wedge and a Y-Wing pilot plus Han?). They only faltered in the Death Star chasing Han, Luke and company, otherwise, they were pretty tough.
And they weren't exactly crap in ESB either, they sustained heavy losses, but they overran the Hoth base pretty quickly, despite Admiral Ozzel's tactical mistake.
It all really started to fall apart in ROTJ...

That’s true. However, that is until they were chasing Leia, Lando and Chewie at the end of ESB. Then suddenly, they forgot how to shoot. :lol

You're ignoring the fact that they're the bad guys and have to lose, otherwise the show ends. I agree that they should be shown to be harder to take down. But this is the same argument over and over about Stormtroopers, they aren't allowed to hit their targets because the show or film would then just end. It's like this in every film where the hero character have to face enemy soldiers or combatants, it's obvious one of the troopers could have just taken two steps back from the scuffle and shot the metalsmith in the back, but they can't. She's supposed to live and they aren't. Leia and Chewie running down hallways in Cloud City should have been shot ten times over, but they CAN'T be or the movie ends. To me, this always comes down to the director and how good they are at hiding plot armor like this. Fight scenes are notoriously difficult to shoot and making it look like one person can take out 4 armored gunmen is even more difficult, but what can you do? She is supposed to live and they are supposed to lose. To me, at least the female Mando looked more capable of doing this than Jyn Erso and a blind man beating up Stormtroopers with sticks in RogueOne.

Yeah, as I said earlier, the Imperial Troops weren't all that bad in the OT, neither were the Clonetroopers in the PT (well, obviously, they were the good guys there... duh!). As you said, it all boils down to how good the director and editor are at shooting and editing those scenes.

[...]To me, at least the female Mando looked more capable of doing this than Jyn Erso and a blind man beating up Stormtroopers with sticks in RogueOne.

Jyn had a riot baton and ran out into the open to beat up or shoot multiple troopers. Chirrut even more so with a stick.

Yeah, if this was Game of Thrones the Metalsmith would have been shot repeatedly in the back, but since it's not ... she was dual-wielding very heavy implements in very close quarters.

And the stormtroopers were bad people.

I personally say it just boils down to it being make-believe. They hit and miss what you say they hit and miss.
