Batman music only goes with Batman.,

Same could be said for Man of Steel Teaser that played LOTR music...it did fit in though

Me either. It could change though.

I'm thinking about getting the LOTR Trilogy on Blu Ray soon. Looking forward to seeing the Hobbit when it hits theaters this winter.

Second title isn't gonna change. It fits perfectly with the other two if you think about the book and even think about how the lotr is titled. The first movie Bilbo isn't looking for a journey of any kind, second movie deals with Smaug and all the issues he's cause/what happens to him as a character, third film now takes the old second film title because it's going to be about what happens as Bilbo heads home.

I'm curious what folks who don't like the title would have gone with.

What should a title be other than descriptive of the basic setting of a film; which is exactly what all three titles are. The first one is Bilbo getting unexpectedly wrapped up in the dwarves business (getting revenge on Smaug), the second is the taking care of business, and the third is Bilbo trying to wrap up his role and just go home.

All three titles are perfect.
