How many people have still to receive theirs? I've not had mine yet and neither I assume do most of the other EU Freaks as well....will we be lucky enough or will we too suffer the same ill fortune as our overseas cousins?

The plastic is there for a reason. But something was missed when they came over on the boat. I'm assuming it's that foam layer.

it's safe to assume that you will get a foam repackaged one if they haven't started shipping overseas. for once you can consider yourselves overseas lucky for the delay.

no rush as i think the people who have damaged ones now will be waiting some time for replacements. i read 60-90 business days. most likely an in-house painter will be fixing the damaged paint. so it's also likely that if you keep the base and only return the statue, that you will get someone else's returned and repaired statue. that's gotta hurt. insult to injury?
now can you imagine if you could pick the custom paint ap for your replacement as an 'i'm sorry'. i think if i were to have that happen, i would pick the gun metal and flat black. i never understood why stealth paint would be gloss anyway.

Here's hoping, this'll only be my second item directly from Sideshow and not from here or Ebay, and the first was damaged too!

From talking to Sideshow I understood that the statues will be replaced NOT repaired or repainted and are coming from China hence the 60-90 business days.

other than getting someone else's repaired statue, i would personally rather have a ss painter repair the problem than getting another crud paint ap from a freshly hungover chinese new year factory worker. could it be as simple as wrapping the statue with some foam?

they need to tell us something, too much time has passed.
and the 10 days behind problem with returns is inexcuseable. i'm sorry, I am a patient person but when I sit back and think about it there should not be a 10 day turnaround on answering a request. if there is then that tells me that department is grossly understaffed and that is a need the company needs to fill.
sorry for the tangent. the car guy is dicking around with me on the delivery date for the SUV i'm buying so i'm tired of excuses at this point.
