All whitey up in hurrr!

lol well I'm Native American and still find this crap dumb.

What's funny is that the guy that got shot, was shot by a Black Milwaukee officer. But, the sister of the deceased called for protestors to burn down "white suburbs".......... It's all documented on social media.

Yep. Dude had a gun and lengthy criminal record...gets shot for running and flashing firearm. Yet, idiots burn down community buildings (that their neighbors and family members have to clean up) because of it. Meanwhile in Chicago, death crime is going up, up, up, up.

It's the same story every single time.

How soon until we see his high school graduation photo to show how upstanding he was?

is it just headache or a full migraine?

I get low level ones, or it could just be eye strain. Been since last night. It was hurting right above my right eye, which is where it was when I had a genuine migraine so bad (only one in my life) that woke me up in the middle of the night. It was so bad that I vomited up aspirin I took for it.

I don't know how people that have to live with them regularly not kill themselves.

People behind me in line that stare while you take each and every item out of your shopping cart. Makes me slow down the process.....

I hate that it's a new school year already. Where did the summer go? It's getting harder and harder as the years go by to go back to it. Not because of the kids so much, but because the work environment is so hostile now. It's hard going to work knowing that the administration could give two ****s about anyone. They could at least pretend like they used to.

My wife is dreading going back to work. It's not even the kids (though that's part of it) as much as all the politics involved in the school. I'm mainly not looking forward to having to spend our money on supplies again. I stopped keeping track of how much we buy every year because it just ends up pissing me off.

in a straight face.
he was telling us this as he was reflecting on happened that night.
the other folks in the table didn't know what he does for a living.lolz

think of it as investing in their future :wave

:lol The majority of those little ****s don't appreciate anything and don't take advantage of what's made available to them. I don't miss teaching at all. As much as everyone loves to say they care about teachers it's a pretty thankless job--horrible pay, constant hoops to jump through, ****** kids, ****tier parents, and no one wants to spend a dime of their money to make sure kids and teachers have what they need so the teachers end up paying out of their pocket to pick up the slack.

Every year in this corrupt city, we gotta hear how broke the schools are and they need to find something new to tax... and then they tell you after it's actually for the budget and not the schools.

The public education system in this country is screwed. No one wants to pay for anything, then when money does get raised for schools it doesn't really get applied there and teachers are still making **** pay and trying to work without the resources they need. Then people go into McDonald's and the kids working there can't work a register that has pictures of the food on it and get pissed about what a bad job the teachers are doing.

in my city they have 100 million... 1 Hundred MILLION in taxes that they took for a project to fix some roads and to fix some street lights and stuff

The money has been sitting there since 2008, no one has touched it, it just sits there in an account or something... The news channel went to ask the city why and they didn't even know what the news channel was talking about. the streets are still messed up and it is not like someone was stealing the money, the city just left it there untouched

I'm sure it's lining someone's pockets. Just goes to show that political corruption starts at home and not in Washington.

This is like the 4th or 5th year in a row were hearing how broke they are. They spent ten million on this stupid park outside of City Hall that has fountains... that no one asked for. That could of kept schools open, but no... they're taxing soda and cigarettes for more budget money to be pissed into the wind. The corruption in this city is ludicrous, and they just keep voting them back in.

My small town in Mass has a population of around 19,000. Just over half of our town budget goes to the school systems. Like clockwork, the residents get (Like General Zod touched on), the infamous "school list" of supplies needed. Now I have four kids and we usually have to spend around $100 on each or more, depending, to get them through the school year on supplies. Then we get the famous note from Town saying there is a budget shortage (which includes the school system, go figure, right?....), that will need to be addressed and made up for (and we all know what that means). My town a few years ago voted to increase the meals tax. Not to go to the town of course, but used to save 3 town jobs.

I went to one town meeting recently and asked this question to which I got a b.s. answer. My question to the Board of Selectman was "if we, as residents, need to learn to live within OUR means and are being asked to sacrifice, why doesn't the Town do the same? Where are the Towns sacrifices"? I brought up that people, if lucky enough, get 3% increase in pay, the town jacks up taxes by more than that, including additional taxes and whatnot. People cannot keep up with that. Much like a lot of Towns and Cities, there is way too much fat that needs to be trimmed before you go asking its residents for more money. It's just insane that my town, much like others, thinks that people can just keep on coping and sacrificing while the town does not. Sorry for the long - winded rant :lol
