They became troll heaven because they weren't monitored closely. It could get pretty bad. I won't miss them.

only big movie boards had trolls
smaller movies or older movies had awesome conversation. sometimes with independent movies you would get the director or some of the actors drop by and talk to people.
some people (i was there too) we were talking with the director of Hobo with a Shotgun once. he made an account to talk to people. Brendan Fraser has a secret account and he goes there all the time.

IMDB is much better than reddit. reddit doesnt have specific movie threads and has much more trolls

A lot of boards had mods that took care of things. Sometimes there it would really get out of hand. Personal, political, you name it. I rarely go there anymore unless I'm having a brain fart about a certain movie and look it up.

I fricking hate Valentines Day. Made up holiday to get people to depart with more of their hard earned money. I would like not to do it but I know the wife would be upset. Between dinner, flowers, and a gift I'll be out a couple hundred bucks.
