I hate wood, things made out of wood, sometimes they can look really nice
but, in my experience wood tends to smell weird after a while, it gets moldy, it just doesn't look great after a while, I much rather have displays made out of plastic or metal,

Kitchen cabinets sometimes are disgusting, only because it is made of wood,
and don't even think about leaving a wet dish in there, it will start rotting,
plus, termites,
wood sucks, furniture made out of wood sucks, it is kinda gross if you don't take care of it, plastic is nicer, for me at least,
