Does anyone else find it interesting that the Shredder and Turtles from the OG are shorter than the 2003 counterparts? They scaled them by way of the toylines, it seems. Neat.

Hated turtles forever. Completly disrespectful to the Original Turtles. Made them look like idiots and made them cowardly and favored the horrid 03 turtles. IMO I hated the 03 turtles I dont know they just didnt appeal to me at all, hell the 2k12 turtles seem better already. Only thing i loved about turtles forever was the mirage turtles.

I thought they played the various characterizations just right. The 2003 seasons are harder edged, and the original micro dudes are more playful by comparison. The use of the Mirage Turtles blew me away, it was like, wow !! Nah, I really enjoyed it.
I made a class watch it at the end of term, and they loved it.

Yeah, Raph does something similar in the TMNT cgi movie. Here, it's Season 7 and Donnie gets zapped, p'd off, and goes out to get Splinter as the Dark Turtle... Looking a lot like a short green Batman !!

Well I can call myself a TRUE Hardcore TMNT fan, thats all. I really glued to this franchise since I was a youngster! I know this license inside out and not to argue but, ummmm, Have you ever rewatched the original series all these years later? It is almost unwatchable its sooo dumbed down (but as a kid it was the greatest thing in the world!) The turtles forever movie was very true to ALL the TMNT cartoon creations! And most HC tmnt fans agree that is was just the perfect ending to MIRAGE'S EPIC 25 year run with the 4 green bros. And A fan and owner of the original 20+ comics,(yes I own the first print of tmnt #1!) They NAILED the first 4 seasons of TMNT 2K3. They ripped stuff right from their comics. then it got into space/star trek stuff because PETER LAIRD approved of it "expanding" Uggh. And I dont like ALL TMNT related stuff... Yes Im talking about TMNT 3 the movie, The Next Mutation live action TV series (even tho they had really good designs) and Image comic run.
Sorry I just have to stick up for the turtles forever movie! LOVE IT!

ALSO people... You HAVE to check out IDW's TMNT run on the comics! its sooooo damn good. (and My Favorite of the 2 original creators is on it! Kevin B. Eastman! show it some love because it is just fantastic.

I enjoyed the TF movie. I'll try and pick it up on DvD, if I can find it. I do think the OG Turtles were a bit exaggerated in the silliness department. The Shredder and his gang seemed about right though.

Thats not it at all my point is that they downplayed the 80s turtles in favor of the 03 turtles. Imo I didnt like that at all. They made the 80s show look stupid and yea it was over the top but it was far from what turtles forever made it out to look like. I hated the 03 turtles they tried so hard to be edgy but failed to me. making shredder into an ultrom, going into space and the dinosaur age. hated it. just me
