This one's tough.

I'd go with Tobey just because he was pretty good in the first two, (regardless of some cheese factor). I think they're two different spiderman movies for two different decades.

But on the other hand Garfield seems to be the perfect fit for the direction they're going in with the rebooted series.

I like them both, but i'm gonna go with Garfield as he's more modern than Tobey's classic Pete and that resonates woth the Pete i grew up with

As far as the films I prefer Tobey's first two to ASM. That makes me lean towards Tobey so far.

Kind of confusing, because as far as Spidey goes,its what was represented in the Raimi flicks, but I much prefer Garfield onscreen as Peter Parker and with his new duds for the next movie, I think we will have the complete package we should have had with the first movie.

Oh yeah, as long as Webb can pull his head out of his *** long enough to cast a decent JJJ.

They should just use the same guy as in Tobey's films. He could be like Judi Dench crossing over from Brosnan's Bonds to Craig's.

Couldn't agree more Dev, he is exactly what I always read JJJ to be. Probably in my top three comic characters personified onscreen.
