Triad gets Samurai Champloo License!

Triad changed their pre order system to Quarterly releases instead of specific dates. Which they should have done ages ago because these Samurai Champloo figures were originally dated for back in November. So now these are sometime in 2nd quarter 09.

You have a point, I forgot the eyes would rotate and the weapons were real metal.

I checked a couple weeks ago and Triad pushed the Jin and Mugen figures to a June 2009 release.

However, I checked just now and there's no listed release date ( ), but they're available for pre-order:

I have no idea when these are coming out.

Interesting, I may try to get these after all, I'd rather they be delayed and done right then rushed and ^^^^ed up.

i heard these are due in next month. there was a link to some photos on one of the japanese sites that showed them with packaging and all. let me see if i can find the link again. i do know that the soul calibur taki figure is shipping. i got my notice for shipping a few days ago. i wonder when they will do Fuu? they previewed her some time ago but no news yet

Triad Toys is really failing hard! The saddest part is that they are not trying to do anything to fix it. Their product is not on par with today's sixth scale market and they always seem to push back releases for serveral months. Sometimes I wonder if this has anything to do with budget problems.

I do hope these come out. I won't be buying until I see a review though, and I hope I can actually find them if I end up wanting them. In the past from prototype to production some of their headsculpts have gone a bit wonky. Their clothing is always top notch though and that's something I can always give them props for. They're pretty much the only game in town for non-military clothing and they do make really nice stuff. Their manufacturing though needs to get under control and I don't know if they've fixed some of their customer service issues, but that has been a problem in the past.
