Action Figure VTS TOYS 1/6 Detroit Revolution - The Negotiator (VM-028)

Had no idea what this was from until a few days ago. Was this game and character really that popular for two companies to make the same figure from it? Game seems interesting, but I'll probably never play it.

Does something really have to be popular to be made? Or can we just enjoy a new figure for it's artistic merit?

Detroit Become Human was my 2018 game of the year. Loved it for its epic cinematic story telling. A very beautiful story of androids seeking freedom, and so many heartfelt moments. Already got this figure preordered, I hope they make other characters also mainly Kara & Markus.

The base and accessory looks outstanding! The headsculpt is not there though... I wonder when limtoys will be releasing their version of this figure.

From the company's point of view, it has to. They intend to sell these things, and make a profit. So popularity helps a lot. The enjoyment of it is a different thing.

Still waiting for mine. It's coming by 'surface mail' which could take 4-6 weeks D: On week 5 right now...

Yikes, the paint job is pretty iffy.

The hairline in particular is bad.

Thanks for the additional pics! Looks like you lucked out with the coat, the 'Android' word across the seam doesn't look too wonky, so this gives me some hope for mine haha! If it ever gets here ...

The hair line paint can be fixed probably. I'm gonna risk trying to tidy it up I think. I don't think it looks too bad depending on the angle and how close the photo is, but then I think I'm fairly forgiving

Than you might like this. For me personally, if the figure had a better portrait it would be perfect, the base is very nice.
