Sorry to hear of the break up.....girl doesn't know what she wants...best to give her her space...maybe she'll come back (and maybe by then you'll have moved on) and maybe she won't. Either way, you've got to let go.

Young women, or un-savvy older women, are attracted to and date men that "fit" who they are at that time in their lives. The prob is is that between 20 and 30 they don't know who they are and while they're out there truly trying to figure that out, men kind've become the "casualties".
ESPECIALLY one like your gal who has not had the opportunity to stretch, grow and make mistakes if mommy's always there to save her.
So, really, once again, this has nuthin' to do with you- it's her personal growing pains and something you're going to have to let her go through. Be a better "parent" to her than her own are being!

Yeah, one thing is for sure is that she needs some growing up to do..... I just always believed that two people would grow together. But people change, and I'm a creature of habit for certain things 
I gonna chime in with a couple of theories to ur story.
Well, first of all, let me explain, ....as a female currently living in Tampa, FL myself, all I can say is TAMPA SUCKS.... There's nothing much to do other than go to Bucs games, or go party with some frat boys. I myself don't care about these things, making me come to the conclusion that maybe ur Girlfriend has been COMPLETELY BORED ever since u left, giving her more time to think about herself.
I have also been in the situation where I felt hopeless cuz I know someone that was unhappy and I could not help them. So maybe she feels that way about ur complaining and she whould just rather quit it, then to feel hopeless like i did.
I do feel that she should be a little more supportive of u since u are over there achieving ur goals. So I dunno.....it's an icky situation.
I don't think she's cheating on you, I just think she's going through some girl stuff.

But she DID contribute to a lot of my happiness, but she felt pressured to make me happy over long distance. That's why she is saying she doesn't want the "responsibility" of being my GF right now. She feels too pressured. But she also feels like this is mainly my fault for moving away from her... That if I really loved her I wouldn't have moved away..... I just wanted to do something different with my life! You know EXACTLY how boring Tampa is. So that's why I moved....
and yes woman are completely EVIL and dont care about the casulties and how much they hurt someone cause one second you think everything is fine and then all of sudden out of the blue, they do a 180 and kick you to the curve. These are the things that i never understood about woman, yeah, us guys can be ^^^^^^^s, but at least we make things pretty obvious.
