Thanks bro! So there might be some new products shown for preorder but not put on display?

No they will give presentations for all their major licenses and reveal what they have planned (Marvel, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, etc). For example last year in the Marvel panel they revealed Cyclops, Rogue, and Bucky premium formats and the Daredevil comiquette. They were not up for preorder or displayed at the show.

Its great news especially for me wich has collected 1:1 statues and busts for a long time.....As my museum is full I consider seriously to switch to this new line and sell out all 1:1 busts and statues and go all over to LSF and PFs !!!!!

The price for a LSF schould be in my opinion aprox 3 times the PF price PF=300-400$ so the LSF schould cost in my opinion 900-1200$ - this would make me decision and start collecting LSF wich will me more apropiate for my collection

Lets hear from sideshow what the prices will be...?
I´ll be ready for them

My LSF Wich list :

Indiana Jones ROTLA (with brown leather jacket)
Robocop (with gun in leg)
Predator 1 (with led in arm etc)
Terminator 2 (arnold / endoskeleton 50/50 with led)
Darth Vader (with led in chest etc)

I think the 1:2s will be 2k from what I heard. Hopefully Wolvie will be cheaper since he has no light up function like Darth Maul and Obi Wan.

If it's 2k then it's about 5-6*PF = 1*LSF

Chick Sad ... so few Marvel stuffs this year ...

Just think--with the money you were going to spend on a new 1:1 bust, an LSB, a PF, two comiquettes and a few 12" figures, you can get... just Wolverine. This line really saves you some shopping time and display space without an increase in spending.

:clap

The Avatar LSF is $1599.00. If they can stay in this price range it's better than $2000.00.

If these are $2K, then I'm definitely only going after Spidey. I'll stick with 1:4. More bang for your buck, IMO.

Wolverine looks to be phenomenal, amazing quality, etc. etc., but with as nice at the 1:4 PFs have turned out, I can't see myself selling off everything in current rotation for these.

Unless we get a Buffy LSF.....then, we'll talk. :lol

Yeah, 1:4 will still be more acessible to most and have a more complete range of characters.

YES, this may be a side effect that SSC has not thought about...it would be interesting if the LSF line rose while the PF (except DC), LSB, and certain 1/6 scale lines fell.... I personally doubt it since the size and price point is not for everyone.

I think I just need to reassess EVERYTHING I collect at this point because between this new line, the DC license, and now HTs deciding that they want to make 2011-2012 the year of every iconic superhero ever created....I may need to revamp the collection once more. Too many things in 'fire' and I'm not interested in a collection that looks like I just bought out a comic book store. :lol

Aye, I'm doing the same, the LSFs changed the collecting landscape for me. I hate having a cluttered collection as well.

If production comes out looking exactly like the proto a $2000ish price tag would be understandable, but anything less then proto perfect would be a rip off.

And as years and thousands of products have proven, Sideshow can never deliver proto perfect products.

You? Never.

I rather pay more for small edition numbers, like 350.

Yeah I wouldn't mind paying more for a 350 ES because that will set the wheels in motion for more characters being made when it sells out. If it's a large or open ES they may not pump out characters as fast.
