I'm pretty sparse on my orders here as well, not that much of interest to me except Rogue PF and Psylocke PF.

Anyone know what is the release date of this bad a$$ statue? Is it 1st qtr or 2nd qtr? I am afraid we won't get him soon enough.

Paint issues? If you would be so kind as to direct me to a thread or something regarding these issues, much appreciated!

I am talking about excessive orange peel and paint sprayed too dry, so that it has too matte an appearance. There have also been issues of edges missing some paint. There have been issues of how things are assembled as well. Basically a lot of fit and finish issues. Of all of the pics that people have posted here of the ones they have received, I have never seen a perfect one, or even one that is as well painted as many of Sideshow's smaller statues. Even the prototype had lots of paint issues as in major orange peel. That is how I knew that the piece would be disappointing.
If they can't even make the prototype look right, I have little hope of a production piece up to par. Some people's are definitely better than others, and some are fairly nice, while others are pretty bad and even arrived with broken legs. I'll see if I can find a link.

I have never seen a perfectly hand painted piece either. I think the main problem is they are painted by humans.....

I would be fine with Q2 :monkey1

making these may take some time, I doubt the factory could assembly line statues of this size like they can a PF

Hope you're right on that Ink.
Just got Psylocke, Rogue & Gobbie then it's all clear sailing from here til Wolvie comes out, unless a Venom comes out or something. :yess:

Thanks man, appreciate it!

I personally think, it's because of the metallic finish that was required for Iron Man.

Yeah I hope the production version matches the proto from SDCC, especially for the price of these.

I think I will limit myself to 5 of these LSF's. That is only around $11K with shipping. Why would I want 40 premium formats when I can have 5 of these bad boys. $2k+ for these pieces are very reasonable for any logically thinking person. I can't believe SS is not charging $5k per piece for these slightly larger pieces. The great news is with the "value" we get on these figures the "value" on the premium formats should go up as well. If they get $2k per piece for LSF's I would think they can charge $600+ for 1/4 scale pieces. Get these figures while you can because at these "value" prices the industry is going to explode with new customers. 12 figures = $300+, 1/4 scale = $600+, LSF = $2k+ = VALUE!!!:wink1::wink1::wink1::wink1::wink1:
