you giving up the wolf pred lsf for sauron & rwos pf?
no one wants lotr stuff anymore, those things are nothing but money sinks. Pick them up off ebay later on for a fraction of the cost.
Well, I do. I have a good amount of pred stuff and the wolf can be had way down the road. I already POed sauron for $150 less than retail and I will get the rwos ex a couple months after it ships for less, and still have plenty of dough left over in comparison to buying just wolf.
I think his price is pretty good considering his size and plus he has an ES. $800 like Galactus would have been a better price for Sauron though.

Yeah such an incrediable piece & definitely one of my favourite characters. I would love to buy this. I've actually thought about getting it a few times as well as Galactus but I'm going to struggle to find a place to display my Hulk when I eventually get him so I'm going to just have admire this statue in this forum & hope SS eventually make a new PF of him.

DAMN! After watching the Stan Lee clip from a few posts back i'm suddenly being drawn back into getting this piece! I promised myself i'd leave this alone but the temptation is too much! Wolvie is an iconic character in the Marvel Universe and after selling my PF Exclusive a few months back for a really good price, i still dont have a decent Wolvie in my collection...could this be it? Shipping to UK is going to be a *****!

Glad you got in touch RagingBull, been meaning to ask someone elses opinion in the UK. Thanks for the link, infact i already messaged Lee at CDUK a while back in regards to this piece and as you can see the price is around GBP1800 including shipping. What i wanted to ask was if i was to buy it from SS the statue alone would cost GBP1250 after conversion from $1999. So how much extra would i have to pay in shipping and customs tax if i was to order from SS direct. I cant see the shipping and tax coming to GBP550?? could it?
Would i really be better off finacially if purchasing from UK?

Customs would be £250 I think if bought from SS. I think it's 20% so I guess it would work out cheaper from SS but probably not much after adding shipping. The good thing is you can take your time with these LSF & work out the best deal to suit you as there's no ES.

Thats the dilemma i have at the moment...im probably the most impatient bugger there is and when a piece comes out that i really want regardless of whether it has an open ES, then i just have to have it. If thats the case of customs costing approx GBP250, i cant see SS charging GBP300 for shipping? In which case financially i'd be better off buying from SS. Also another added benefit would be with damages...if i purchased off CDUK and it arrived damaged, it would take a considerable amount of time to get a replacement whereas receiving damaged goods from SS usually is straight forward in terms of getting a replacement...think i'm gonna take my chances and order from SS. The statue appears to be shipping in April so i've got a few months to think it over.

I actually contacted Lee at CDUK about the Spiderwoman I ordered because that statue has turned out being a QC nightmare but they do check the statues over there before sending them out which I think is really good thing but being impatient when it comes to ordering is what I'm like to so I know where your coming from there. I'm going to have to wait for SS to do another 1/4 version though or hopefully I can pick up the Wolverine PF for a decent enough price in a few months time.

I can't say enough good things about lee his customer service is ace and I love how he bubble wraps the shippers so they don't get damaged.
I'm sure another wolverine is in the works well I hope so really want a brown costume version now.

I searched high and wide for the Wolverine EX PF, and when i managed to own one, i sold it after a few months. Just wasnt really happy with it TBH. Something about the pose and also the base was very bland. I cant see another PF arriving soon, unless its based on the new Wolverine movie this year...i want a good representation of the comic version Wolverine and so far the LSF is the only way to go. Think im gonna get this from SS. Shame Lee's price isnt slightly lower. At say GBP1600 rather than GBP1800 i mightve been tempted...
