I'm not riled up about the ES because I just saved 400 dollars. I won't be buying Wonder Woman PF any time soon, and maybe she will be heavily discounted at the WB store like Batman PF was. Congrats to the guys that bought her but for the price, she isn't worth it imo if I can pick one up later down the line for discount. Catwoman is clearly going to be a pass too. I would pay $150 for a statue with a massive ES like the DC Cover Girls, but I would never pay $400. What's the ES on the WW REG, 6000...? No thanks. I'll buy the Koto Wonder Woman instead. The Koto Supes is just as awesome imo and way cheaper too.

You're entitled to your viewpoint of course, but put one of those tiny little cover girls next to the Batman PF and tell me that you're not getting your extra $250 worth. Putting aside the number on the base, tell anyone outside this hobby that isn't wrapped up in the numbers that the difference between the Batman PF and the 1/7 scale Arkham City Batman statue is $250, and see how many people think you're getting the most bang for your buck out of the tiny DC direct piece. The $150 price tag may be easier to swallow, but you buy more of those tiny things and end up spending just as much or more than you would have on a PF collection.

1/4 scale PFs, IMHO, offer the most bang for your buck in this hobby PERIOD. Even with rising prices and edition sizes. Just my 2 cents.

Man these ES debates never get old. Good times.

So true...I remember in years past when people would lose their mind when an EX had an ES higher than 500 which used to be the norm on the earlier Marvel pieces. As the company get's bigger and the statues more popular, you have to expect the rising ES's...no need to get upset about it.

To be fair, so far I've read 6 pages of pre-complaining about the ES complainers compared to 2 posts of actual complaining.

Granted, I'm sure the dude who did post can't help himself and will post about it again soon...

Personally? Eh. The sculpt was a home run. It sold. Good for Sideshow. Good luck with QC. See you in 2015.

Have to account for the bootay factor also, sex sells.

As the kids say... It's a business, yo.

It does make me happy I haven't ordered the Catwoman PF yet. I suspect a similar ES there, so that gives me time while I try to close on my new house this week. Now talk about a real collectible... It has an ES of 1.

u need an alias or disguise, man. Mr. Green don't wanna type to a real person. Its against Mr. Green pop culture stereotype, lol.

Wow that's a pretty big ES for the EX (surprised ... not complaining) :wave Was thinking of ordering another one as an investment to sell later on, but given the ES... As someone so eloquently put earlier "it is an unwise decision to invest in polystone now"... Maybe I should invest in Chinese labourers I heard somewhere their value is on the rise *cough Modern Age Thor cough*:wink1::rotfl

Guys what was the ES on ex Bats and Ex Supes cant remember . It was less than 3500 wasn't it? I thought ESs had to do with the popularity (besides the money for SS) of a character, so I don't get it why WW has more EX's than the most popular guys. Not that am complaining am just a bit confused really...!@#$%^

I don't see how 3500 is that huge of a deal. Lol.

Even at 10,000!

There's 7.154 billion ppl living right now.

Some seriously just want to see the world burn.

2000 Batman EX, 7500 Batman Reg.
2500 Supes EX, 5000 Batman Reg.

And the reason why WW has more? Two letters... T and A.

I for one never thought the EX ES was gonna be that high. 2500 tops

Females sell more. Harley and Ivy es is higher than Joker.

Nobody should be shocked by the large and obscene edition sizes. These high ES are now the norm along with the $400+ standard price for a PF. Anyone getting mad about a high ES at this particular junction in Sideshow collecting is still living in the past. Either that or they haven't accepted that Sideshow sets the rules of the game to whatever they want. As a collector we always have the option to play or not to play the game.

I will say that is interesting that Sideshow seems to thrive where other companies are failing. Despite economic conditions and all that.
