I know Apocalypse was played by a real guy in DOFP, but I wonder if Apocalypse will be a full CGI character like Thanos in the next film? I haven't heard anyone talk about actors in talks to to play him.

It isn't just about showing that they all die, it's showing that they had zero chance. Not a small chance, but no chance.

Ohhhhh, I gotcha. They couldn't show them kicking ass and then dying, they had to have LESS hope than fighting...and all dying.

Can't argue with that Snyderverse logic, well played!

I know the X Men franchise has a lot of continuity errors, but since DOFP "fixed" everything, I was wondering what is the current timeline of the original cast ( Jackman, Stewart and Ian Mckellen) ? The next film takes place in the 80's with Fassbender and the First Class cast, but at the end of DOFP the original cast of XMen are in a future timeline. So my question is, what year is it in the future timeline? Since the film was directed by Singer does that mean that the timeline from X1 AND X2 are canon? If they are, that means the future timeline with the original cast takes place in 2014 or close to that, because in X Men (2000) it was in the not too distant future, so it was close to the year 2000.

Also, I was thinking that if the X Men (2000) timeline is still canon, that means Wolverine might be wearing the same costume from the first movie because in X Men (2000) it had been 15 years since he had no memory and he had the metal claws, which means 2000 - 15 = 1985, same timeline from X Men Apocalypse.

They didn't fix anything continuity-wise. In fact they only added more problems in that regard. What they 'fixed' was bringing Xavier, Cyclops and Jean back from the dead. I think that's about it?

Well, they did fix a few things. By bringing back Cyclops, Jean and Xavier, they erased X Men 3 and everything that happens in that film. But I don't think DOFP changes X Men Origin, which is still wrong, because it takes place in 1979 which means if you add 15 years of Wolverine without memory, it's 1994, but the original film came out in 2000(in the not too distant future). If DOFP erases Origin ( I'm not sure it does), then everything is fixed...I think.

When I talked to Singer last week he said because Wolverine change the future he also change the past and the history of the X-Men. Mystique is going to stop the adamantium infusion and it's going to be replaced by the alien Symbiote Venom. This will happen before the amazing Spiderman three. Also the Hulk will bring Venom down from space in the avengers two

Tom Hardy Eyed For 'Apocalypse' Role In X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

Tom Hardy is very much in demand right now, as he fields offers for both Marvel's Doctor Strange and DC Comics' Suicide Squad. However, The Wrap now reports that the former is looking very unlikely due to that fact that he is fielding an offer from 20th Century Fox to play Apocalypse in X-Men: Apocalypse, Bryan Singer's highly anticipated follow-up to X-Men: Days of Future Past. It's far from a done deal at this point of course, but it's an exciting prospect, especially when you think back to his take on Bane in The Dark Knight Rises. As both Suicide Squad and X-Men: Apocalypse come out in the same year, he'll likely be forced to choose one or the other and the former sounds more like a sure thing right now. Who would you guys most like to see Hardy play?

I would totally be on board with Hardy playing Apocalypse
