I'm pretty sure that would only apply if you were buying the 1 figure over and over, and not like Iron Man armors. Just the 1 armor over and over and over. That's madness. Otherwise its just collecting and storing

give them away? Buy a Hot Toys and get a free Grievous! What a deal. Then have CS dive into the hell of replacing all damaged pieces.

Cheaper to dispose all of them.

I hate that HT announce 2 stellar figure at once.. this and battle damaged vader, hard to choose if I can only order one..

The choice is simple...

Count Dooku, Sith Anakin, Darth Maul, Darth Sidious (both Clone Wars and ROTS), and now General Grievous. It's like dream come true. On top of that, ARC Troopers Fives and Echo just showed up couple of weeks ago. 7.5 years waiting has really proven to a fruitful experience so far.

Thank you Hot Toys, for everything that I've ever dreamed of in this collecting hobby. The rest of modern SW garbage I literally do not give a *** ***. Why the hell do you even care when you have these beloved SW characters from the childhood nostalgia forever stay in the collection.

Yep, I was just thinking about that today. We practically have all the main Prequels villains. Dooku, Jango, Anakin/Vader, Maul 2.0, ROTS Darth Sidious and now Grievous?!

If we get ROTS Vader, ROTS Chancellor Palpatine AND ROTS Emperor Palpatine, I’d be made whole for the villains.

ROTS Emperor is the same as ROTJ Emperor... don't need a dedicated version (unless you never got ROTJ Emperor. Shame!).

Maul 1.0 and 2.0 on PO
Dooku
Anakin Dark Side
Cody
Grievous... soon!

I passed on:
Jango... I just have too many damn Fetts

ROTS Emperor is based on 2005 Ian McDiarmid overall character design. Different face prosthetics.

Yeah... but, really Lucas wanted to connect PT Palps to OT Palps so Lucas ended him in that classic ROTJ black robe.

Not sure why he changed to the black robe after beating Yoda and quickly racing off to find Vader... and then he never changed again for 20 some odd years.

Ha. To be fair, he wore that outfit in TPM and AOTC. I always took it as those were his main Sith robes, and he decided to spruce it up and wear something fancy that night when confronted by Yoda (which is also the same canonical outfit he wore vs Maul and Savage on Mandalore in TCW S5x16 and vs Maul in Son of Dathomir).

Maybe I’m just being a stickler, but I’d love to have a proper ROTS Emperor, especially if they made ROTS Vader. It’d pair amazing with a pair of Shock Troopers too.

If you attach a pre-deformed headsculpt on him, you’d have his TPM/AOTC look.

Oh yeah! I currently have MMS437 with the hood up which is basically Vader when he storms the Temple.

It’s funny because if they make Artisan “Sith eyes” Vader, I’d have the rooted hair covered full-time

Just realising when I recreated this shot with original Anakin I got the left robe fold wrong I'll have to try again with the Artisan

Co-pilot insisted on flanking him with clones, even after multiple inquires of it not doing so. Wonder why no droids. Grievous’s true allegiance lies with… The Republic?
