So it came out on digital today but UK folks need to buy it on Amazon/Sky/Apple, we can’t just watch it on D+? This makes no sense to me.

No direct to D+ release and no indication of it anytime soon. Weird move. Do they not want people to subscribe for the biggest movie of the year?

Awesome rant and performance by Jackman.Forgot to say I did finally see this - the Dogpool entrance destroyed me. I had recently had to see my 17year old Shih-Tzu put to sleep so just was not ready to see basically a furless Shih-Tzu running in slow mo to Lady in Red!
Not a bad movie overall. With Superhero and MCU fatigue it would be fairly disposable to me though if not for Jackman playing Wolverine again.
Sorry to hear about your pup, a-dev. It was hard not to love that dog in the movie. And I agree with you both. This movie works for me because Jackman Wolverine works. On a related note, I saw this yesterday:

The cost of movie costumes and props is insane, especially when you have people making these things in their garage on a much tighter budget
I guess copying someone else who figured it all out is easier.
