I don't, Hot Toys do..., if it wasn't what they said though then I'm sure they'd leave themselves open to prosecution wouldn't they? False advertising or some such nonsense??? I like the 3 diecast series Iron Man figures they've made to date & I'm looking forward to getting the next 2..., they are nicer than the all plastic figures I think so I'm happy enough. I'm happy with my plastic figures too of course, I'll collect them all regardless of materials..., just the diecast thing gives the figures a more authentic feel/look which I appreciate.

They feel heavier and are more expensive but look no better than the plastic figures. I don't know where you are getting this "more authentic feel/look " from. I have IP and there is nothing more authentic about its look compared to my plastic figures. They can call it Diecast all the want but its still a mostly plastic figure they are putting out unlike PI.

The more I look at this . Specially the bicep area . I think the arms might open up. To pop half a Tony stark body ? Maybe more of the chest will come off too. be great if it did. Come on Hot Toys impress us. This is a fantastic looking Ironman. great proportion too looks like a body can fit . Be weird to gave us semi opening leg parts? And no body reveal.

No retailers I deal with will stock Play Imaginitive Iron Man figures, the super alloy series sounds great but I've heard lots of bad things..., I'm guessing that's why Hot Toys have gone with the use of plastic too with their diecast figures. Regardless of opinions though, they'll make what they like & we can either buy it or not, in the case of War Machine 2.0, Iron Patriot, Hot Rod & currently the mark 43, if we want them then diecast is the only option..., I'll not pretend I'm unhappy about that as I like the use of metal on a metal suit, it makes sense.

I know it sounds bad but technically I did that..., my now ex wife kept damaging my collectibles so she had to go. lol We split up for many reasons but my collecting was definitely one of them.

I'd like to think she was just clumsy but when one of my Vader's suffered at the hands of her handbag not once but three times, I had my doubts. lol She would have no need to be swinging her handbag or anything else around in my collection room but she'd still do it all the same..., after a few years she slipped up & basically told me that she didn't like me spending money on myself when it could be better spent on her..., that was the start of the end as it made me look at the big picture & realise I was just a bank & taxi service, nothing more. Anyway, I'm a lot happier now & no one damages my collection (well accept me on the odd occasion whilst dusting, hate it when that happens but thankfully it's rare).

Thanks, that's life though..., I'm just happy I won the court case regarding her wanting me to sell my collection & give her half of the money. But that's another long & boring story..., back on topic now. lol

What's the feeling about the red? Is the duller colour more accurate???
