you were bored with that hot toy your wife
lol, well to be fair she'd gone from hot to not by the time we split up.
I would say looks arent everything but it sounds like she didnt exactly have a winning personality either.... no offense intended
I guess it was just a case of not knowing the real person until you live with them..., we managed 3 years though & it wasn't all bad. Anyway back to the topic..., having not bought any of Hot Toys bigger figures before, I was wondering is this remote control thing something they do much of (does anyone know)? I think I'd go a bit crazy with the remote control for a few days if I could turn all of the lights on with just the push of a button. lol
I think thats usually a DIY thing, but I'm not 100% sure. Honestly I don't see the problem with the batteries, but I like tinkering with things so I don't mind having to keep messing with batteries and screws etc
Messing with batteries is not the problem. Activating the lights is. Having to pull figures out and pop off panels to turn lights on and off is cumbersome and unnecessary. Having to do this for multiple figures in a display causes me to abandon the light features all together. Remotes would be great.. Eventually a universal remote necessary as you will have dozens of remotes to manage.

That would be amazing but unfortunately hot toys would then add another $30 for each figure for that option

there seems to be some very slight inaccuracies in the colour scheme on some parts; hopefully it comes out well in the final product. i am looking to keep only 1 iron man, this 1/4 scale mark 43 could be it!
Yeah, it's a virtual certainty that this will come with a Tony headsculpt, maybe even an unhelmeted one.
I started collecting 1/6 figures this summer, after buying some 1/10 Kotobukiya figures, so I'm not leaving 1/6. My goal is to have all the New52 Justice League and Avengers in 1/10 format, my favorite Dc and Marvel characters in 1/6 (Batman, Iron Man, Wolverine, The Joker, Catwoman, Spiderman) and now this figure totally makes me want my two favorite characters at all in 1/4 (Batman and Iron Man). I am a comics reader, so I focus my collection in comics heroes/villains.
this figure is more and more tempting every day

I really don't see any reason it shouldn't come with a remote. HT has already released one product with the feature (TDK armory), and solicited two more (TDKR "The Bat," and TDKR Batsignal), so, we know that they're entirely capable of it.
