Totally loving this !! IMG_4982.JPGIMG_4983.JPG

The day mine arrives from SS (yesterday) is the day I actually opened my STGCC SZ because I was too lazy to mount it on the wall like this: (but yay, it's done, now for WM DC & Sneaky)

I just paid this bad boy off early, couldn't wait any longer. I got Mark 45, Starboost and Gamma in the last two weeks, why not keep it going. :yess:

This armor is amazing looking. I was a little surprised that it's way more grey than white, almost not white at all. But still love it and it's design. Here it is with all the other Mark 7 designs.

I think the Mark 7 getting a Diecast version is a foregone conclusion. It is arguably the most profitable and successful Iron Man suit for HT. My question is do you think they will continue the variants with the Diecast version.

Also, I could see that the delay of getting the DC MK7 is that HT is still trying to profit off of the plastic mould. Because once a DC MK7 is released I think most would be hesitant to go back to a plastic version. Thoughts?

I think Iron Man mk7 is to Hot Toys as Final Fantasy 7 is to Square Enix. It's the glue that will keep them from going under.

I hope not, there are so many 7 variants in the market, incl. the open armour that is supposedly on the way.

The current 7's proportions are great unlike the 4 and 6 where the plastic versions were a bit off. 4 has the updated Shanghai exclusive version and considering it is pretty similar to 6, that might not be anytime soon.

But hoping that they announce 1, 2 or 5 in Diecast tho.. Maybe in 2018, to mark the 10th year anniversary of the first Iron Man movie.

I totally agree. It is from one of the most anticipated films and a film that more than delivered on the lofty promise of mixing several superheroes together and making it work. Not to mention that Iron Man looks amazing and is played by a great actor.
I've always thought of Iron Man having 3 major suits thus far...the Mark 3, the Mark 7 and the Mark 42. Mark 7 is an important suit in the MCUs sustained popularity. I still think that it will get a DC treatment soon.

I'm sure they will make a diecast Mark VII. I doubt they'll ever do any diecast variants though. The variants have a much smaller market.

I'm presently waiting for them to announce the Mark VII diecast, I'll be first in line. I've got several variants at the moment from the HPP's and others, but I've been hesitant to pull the trigger on the original version because of the pending diecast announcement.

I would like them to finish getting their moneys worth with how much they can milk the plastic version now rather than see them do more Diecast variant once the diecast version is released . That is also one of my fears once they make a diecast version of Mark 7
