There really should have been an option to light up the interior without the headlights and taillights, since we never saw those lit in the movie. As it is, I probably won't bother with the light feature at all with this version.

It bugs me more that the lower part of the rear vents dont light up and the binnacle instrument cluster is incorrect also.

Personally, i feel HT have been rather lazy with the deloreans. I was rather dissapointed with the part 1 car i bought that i had to modify to get it to a decent standard and the flaws that were present on that have been present on the rest.
Overall it felt cheap and tacky and the door opening rachet system is nasty and they fail fairly quickly so the doors start to droop.
These are frankly overpriced for what youre getting. I paid $350 for the first car and i felt ripped off somewhat. Lots of inaccuracies and the interior is way too clean and tidy. This version could definitely do with some sandy weathering. If diamond select could do it for their 1:15th scale models, then HT should be able to also.

As much as i love the delorean (i own a real one), these ht ones will not be in my collection.

I am considering this to use with the rail wheels. For those of you planning to get this car, and that are also planning to add weathering, what do you plan to use to add the weathering? I want to add some dirt/mud to the underside, though I am not sure what I would use. What other mods, if any would you consider?

Have you considered using dirt and mud?

I’m sorry. I kid.

Check the hobby weathering supplies on Amazon. Let me take a look and get back to you.

These are just a few quick finds. There are lots of others.

Happy hunting!
