Yeah, I also noticed this right away. The eagle moss one is also too thick/wide.The tire width is also far too wide on the Hot Toys wheel.
The '50s tire should be super-narrow.
The good news is I've heard Mike Lane Mods is apparently working on a hood-box & wheels?

What is the issue with the hood box other than it not lighting up? I’d imagine a whole new custom one might be a bit expensive…The tire width is also far too wide on the Hot Toys wheel.

Other than missing the Coca Cola labeling, I'm not aware of anything. What is the issue with the hood box other than it not lighting up? I’d imagine a whole new custom one might be a bit expensive…
I figured someone was going to do a custom Coca Cola sticker. I have messaged Mike Lane Mods a couple of times going back many months to see if he was going to do train tracks, though he never replied...Other than missing the Coca Cola labeling, I'm not aware of anything.
I'm definitely down for some new tires from whoever makes them. I have a 3D printer but don't see any files out there currently to use.
How were you able to fix the issue with the hood not fitting correctly and the doors opening? What exactly were the issues with the doors?I just received mine yesterday. Had a few issues with the hood fitting correctly and the doors opening but it appears to be fine now. I'll check my wheels to ensure I'm not experiencing issues with them moving into the correct position for the 1955 wheels.
The best way to attach the hood would be to lie it down the way it should look on the car. Put one end of the spring connector in and carefully put the other one in without lifting the hood. This should give it better fit.How were you able to fix the issue with the hood not fitting correctly and the doors opening? What exactly were the issues with the doors?
