Just because it was in that coming soon pic means nothing. It was the proto in that again not an actual production piece. That photos purpose was to drive sales, increase interest/excitement, and keep preorders from being canceled. It was by no means some guarantee or shipping order. We could see anyone delayed substantially, moved up, or one not even in the photo release first.

I don't recall off the top my head but was tonto in that pic? Was it released before zod? Either way, it was a marketing tool/ploy, an obviously very effective one by how many times I've seen a photo used as an argument that an included figure has to be coming and won't get delayed.

Fair enough. But how about the photo of this we saw at the last convention? It was updated from the proto type. And I agree with Lipsmack, they have been very consistent with the releases as of late. I just don't think it will get pushed back to next year. I'm not quite sure it is a ploy however I do think SS messing with the quantities saying "hurry only 40 remaining!" is a ploy...usually gets me too!

I also don't think it gets pushed to next year. But the figures from the last(the one from before this one) coming soon image that had tonto and zod are just now coming out, after a couple from this one. My point is, that a marketing photo is not a trusted way to gauge release dates and delays. It's a marketing ploy/tool. And when I say ploy, I don't mean that in a negative way.

But we do know of three others that will probably come out before this and is not on any of these. The exclusives(iron man xx, joker Ect)

I usually check Silent Dude's Youtube unboxing videos to watch when things are coming to the US. Once he posts a video, the item is usually here stateside give or take 3 weeks.

Was curious, does anyone know why he doesn't speak at all in his videos? Is he a member on these forums?

Cause he probably doesnt speak english, and probably does those videos for his store promos, not necessarily for us over in NA
