Great looking figure; I'm hoping that's a harbinger that we will be seeing him in-stock soon.

However, I think I'm going to have to give the slight edge to the LA TDW Thor as being the consummate Thor figure thus far, just based on the pictures. I like the fact that HT changed his facial expression, but I think TDW sculpt bears the best likeness. Can't wait to see AoU Thor in hand though.

I wonder if 2k pounds is Roger's one rep max. Makes me wonder how much Thor could bench.

I'd be inclined to say it is. Generally whenever it's stated or listed how much someone can bench, it's usually their one rep max.

Thanks for the pics. I love everything about it except for the undershirt. But that's a Marvel design choice, so whatcha gonna do?

I much prefer this closed-mouth sculpt to either of the Dark World looks.

If I do get this Thor, I'm still keeping my Dark World version. They both have great things about them, and would have both bare arm and armored arm that way. Win win.

I find it crazy how he and a lot of the other AoU figures have come out before those of us on payments have even started yet.

It's understandable that figures of characters we've seen before and featuring similar if not the exact same sculpts - Cap, Widow, Hawkeye, Hulk and now Thor - are being hurried out the door.

Yeah, HT is definitely making haste with the AoU line thus far.

Though I wouldn't be surprised if figures that don't already have an existing version with similar parts, not have their release dates bumped up much, if at all.

Yeah, I think it will be slow going for release of Ultron, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Quicksilver and Hulkbuster IM.

Add this line to the Star Wars line and there is some hastiness out the door.
