I'm just a bit obsessive about scale. I realize that it's not always possible to have everything perfect though.

Are you sure? Cap can be seen as clearly shorter in many scenes he shares with Thor in The Avengers and Avengers - Age of Ultron.

Uh...yeah, look at the movie. Thor's taller by like half a head. If some secondary source is saying that they're meant to be portrayed as the same height, then that source is inaccurate.

It's official from marvel studios, so yeah it does. Again, the on screen perceived height is meaningless. That's the actors, placement from camera, what they are standing on..ect. Is iron man 5ft9? RDJ is. Even in costume he's under 6ft. And given he almost never wears the bottoms and (legs, foot, shoes) on set he would be 5ft10 on screen. How tall the actors are is not how tall the characters are. When marvel gives hot toys the height, they give them the above specs. (Both 6ft4) even if they are different height on screen you can't tell how tall they actually are. (Obviously you can check online but that's not the point)

Funny how the justifications change when it doesn't match what you want. So I'm sure you hate iron man, to tall. Hate batman, (the actors are almost all shorter then the figures made..Keaton is 5'10, Kilmer 6ft but batman is 6ft4.)...

The actors are playing a part. The character is a certain size. The character has certain abilities. You can believe they can fly and bench two tons but being an inch taller...that's where you draw the line? Lol
