Just read this page and you see how crazy things are. Lol one post says its amazing. Next guy says it doesn't even look like hemsworth. Lol

Well, that's disappointing. No wonder it was released so soon... No revisions were done to the sculpt. That doesn't resemble Hemsworth much.

The armor looks good though, I like the silver more than the gold. I wonder if I should get this and stick TDW sculpt on it.

Yeah, I don't see Hemlsworth at all in most of these angles. It is an amazingly detailed sculpt, but no likeness- especially compared to the TDW sculpt

They should have made the head and neck one piece like they did with Captain America. Not interested in figures with ugly exposed joints unless it's a cheap 3.75" figure.

That's a good way to put it. Great detail on the sculpt, but no likeness to Hemsworth.

I think the Hulk sculpts are inferior to the Avengers version too... I don't know if they got new sculptors or what, but it's not working.

Still, I'm thinking about getting flex ordering this with a coupon. The armor looks great and I'll just stick my TDW sculpt on there.

Definitely Paul Walker, not. The TDW's forehead is almost identical to Chris Hemsworth's I can guarantee you that!

The AOU version would be more accurate if they fixed the jaw.

Get a new pair or go get some prescription glasses done.

Can't believe I've wasted my time doing this.

Yeah, I want a Thor in my collection but I'm not sure this is the one cause I'm not seeing Hemsworth in the sculpt. Perhaps when it hits the streets and we see it in regular lighting I'll change my mind.

Yep. And the person you responded to has said he doesn't buy anything.

And saying the likeness doesn't even look like hemsworth? Really? It may not be 100%, one could argue. But doesn't look like him much or at all? It's funny how I get called out for hyperbole..for saying people over react to pretty much everything...but so long as you complain about hot toys and sideshow there's hardly anyone that says anything about it. And then the same old rubber bs. It will "eventually" deteriorate...well so will plastic. They both have about the same shelf life. You got people saying the neck looks bad becuase it has a joint...but they do rubber arms to prevent that same thing and they get the same amount of complaints. People just want to complain..it wouldn't matter what they did.

They'll only crack if you constantly play with it like a Walmart toy. My LA Thor's arms are still as pristine as the day I got it.

I am confused by this post... Both Avengers versions have silver discs. Only the Dark World one has gold.
I hated the gold myself, which is why I am glad they changed that with AoU Thor's costume.

As far as the head goes, it looks close enough to Hemsworth.

The ONLY reason I will be swapping mine out for Dark World Thor is that I think the slightly open mouth
has more expression in it that this sculpt.

Haha read my post again, it says I wanted an ARMORED Thor with silver discs.

Not sleeveless and I dunno if it's worth it to just buy a Dark World body and just swap it out.
