Cmon guys, that's a fugly repainted custom someone did, you can see that they just smudged paint on there like painting water colors

Yeah. That is an awful paint job. Outside of coloring out of the lines it would in fact be hard to actually do it worse.

That said, I think one of the people you replied to was saying he would buy a hot toys sleeved one with those colors not that specific one.

And yeah I might have misinterpreted both of their enthusiasm but yeah, I can't tell what exactly they're excited about, that specific figure or the possibility of a sleeved AOU sleeved thor.

In all honesty that specific auction is a scam, trying to pass a horribly painted custom as a rough "prototype". People that lists stuff in that manner makes me sick.

Haha I was saying that I would LOVE a sleeved Thor with the silver accents and would buy that instantly. That was somewhat a taste of what it could look like.

I wouldn't mind having a sleeveless variant too. I just wanna be able to put a helmet on him to really give him the classic/Marvel NOW! look.

I've seen modded heads come up for sale now and again. Ones you can use the older helmets with.

But if he doesn't use it in the movie hot toys won't make it.

I'd keep an eye out for one of those custom heads. Or ask one of the people here to do one. Lots of skilled people around these parts

So Thor is not blonde huh?

Looking at the sleeveless pic on the first page, it looks like the hair color is fairly dark. It may look darker in those pics because of the lighting

This is one of my customs

It's hard to pull off a perfect paint job that precise (talking about the silver accents on the Thor Fig). Needs a person with a lot of OCD to pull off. Not only that, but keeping it smooth is hard due to irregularities being easily seen with metallic paint
