The dome peak could look better...but i'm not liking those cuts on the tusk/tubes(wrong movie)..and the two tone inaccurate color scheme makes them stick out even more! Obviously it was cheaper to use the same mask mold for this and the upcoming ROTJ version...but still...

Love the nose though..that's a definite improvement

This is the Vader I've been waiting for. Only thing is the full face reveal seams near tusks but guess what, I'll live and not loose any sleep over it. Best 1:6 version so far by miles, OT for ever.

Gotta be honest, I’m pretty disappointed to see them use the ROTJ facemask for ESB. The cuts are an eyesore (especially with the innacurate paint highlighting them) and the fat bottom lip (accurate to ROTJ, but not ESB) is something I’ve never liked about that mask. Oddly enough, the widows peak doesn’t bother me.

Everything else looks great.

It looks like they changed the way the light boxes and chest box lights turn on. Looks much easier to do. I might actually display him lit up now lol

Certainly looks like the best 1/6 Vader straight from the box. Still not a huge fan of the HT bodysuit and the helmet overall is okay and but the break in the chin tubes, and something still off with facemask sculpt are issues. Great they tried with a new sculpt though.

I wonder how it compares to the other Vaders in terms of height.

That seam going between the tusks makes him look like a duck. Like thats his mouth. It throws off his whole look. His 'mouth' should be the grill up top. ( I have always equated Vader's face to sort of resembling a bull dog bearing its teeth) I just don't ever remember him looking like this. IMO personally i think when the helmet is complete, it should not be depicted with the seams at all and they should only be there when the helmet is being removed. I know thats not realistic. Or maybe HT didn't design it accurately. He just looks so different.

And I hate the way the dome keeps falling off in that video. Why isn't it attached with a magnet? He just tilted the figure slightly and he flung the helmet across the table Looks flimsy as hell. And honestly the reveal of the back of Vader's head is oddly shaped. It should protrude further back. Like its not a fully formed cranium.

Sorry for being negative, thats my immediate impressions. I will say the cycling lights on the chest box was cool. Totally didn't expect that.
