Looks great. It's just a little too pricey for me.

Why was the Hot Toys Ant=man thread locked?

Saw the film just now and it actually made me want to PASS on this figure. I thought YJ was forgettable overall and wasn't impressed. The design looks fine but overall it was meh. Made me want Ant-Man more though.

Completely agree...Cory Stall was awful...all he needed was a mustache to twirl and to turn towards the camera and go Muahahaha! Muahahahaha!

Stoll was not that bad. He's a good actor. Sure, his dialogue wasn't great but his job was to not be liked. He is the villian after all. I completely disagree with the claims that he was "awful."

OK since the Ant-Man thread is closed for some reason I'll ask my question here.
Does anyone know what version of Thomas the tank engine play set is used in the film?
Is it a real set or one made just for the movie?

Have to wait until Thursday before the movie runs here... With or without movie, I'm getting this anyway. YJ design is just perfect!

As far as I can tell they use 2 different trains. The one in all the close up shots with the moving eyes and the red and black bumper

You can see this is a higher end fully motorized train with metal wheels. This is the closest match I can find
Bachmann G Scale Thomas The Tank Engine 91401 with Moving Eyes Brand New | eBay

Then theres the wide shots with the kids miniature train set

which is closer to this

Cuz y'all don't use spoiler tags.
so this thread keeps spoiler free then? dont make sense... :monkey4

anyhow, the movie was super fine.
somehow fresh, smaller and like a healthy step away from the "Marvel movie formula", the sorta megalomania that IMO has been troubling the studios films lately.

I had my doubts, but I have to say it won me over.
that said... given a choice, I would still opt to see the (un-made) Edgar Wright version every single time.

trying really hard to resist hitting the pre-order button on Ant-man.
