Also for being the big deal MMS 300 where is the damn headsculpt? I thought for sure they would use the one they did for the 1/4 scale Mark 43.

You don't see the helmet flip open in the film. Probably why.

No metallic paint and using the same as the 43, etc is so bad.

Ok so the colour isn't what I think most expected, I would imagine this has been based more off the colour in the concept art than the film.

Well its die cast (booo, no flight poses) but it does have a battle damaged chest piece, lasers which I am guessing pop out of the arms (?) and has a damaged Sentry as a part of the base (was hoping for a base to match the other Avengers with this one not another diorama).

The interesting thing is the 'effect' pieces they are including, very Figuarts style... wonder if that is going to be a new standard feature.

That's exactly why it should be there. What's the point of having multiple threads for a figure? You get people bouncing back and forth. Then someone has to close or merge one.

As for the paint color...they are trying to keep all the standard Mark red the same for a uniform appearance. It's why the mk3 is the color it is. I did say they where going to continue doing that though I don't think anyone believed me.

Yeah that's true. I guess I figured Hot Toys would do a little better for ole 300.

Not perfect, but I think it looks pretty great. The effects parts look really nice.... The base is the best part though.

I was impressed until I saw that this is MMS300. Seriously? Doesn't even have a Tony Stark head.

After all this hype for the big 300 I was hoping for something more impressive, new or interesting than another Iron Man armour.
