Opening mine now.

Never tried to do both RP and Codes, thought you could, anyway they should let us, especially when they gouge on shipping, plus I did get a $20 Code with my Yoda which expires 6/15, why is it still only $20 when the average prices of these figures keep going up?

Below the promo code field it says:
Note—You may only use a promo code or Rewards Points on an order, not both. If you want to use Rewards Points, you must remove any applied promo codes.

Whats really irritating is when you receive two figures around the same time that have promo codes attached, only to be able to use one of them.

So how bad is it...? You've been opening it for like 2.5 hours.

Always a wise guy in the crowd...:lol

Just got a quick peek before I had to run out. Will get a better look in the am.

First impression: Man, this guy is SO... little.

I don't think anyone will be disappointed with it, it's the best out there and I doubt there will be any more. The hair throws it off a bit for me, but not a problem. I'm happy overall as this is the closest 1/6 rep of the puppet Yoda I'll ever get my hands on. I had the Hasbro repainted and the Medicom and passed on the SSC knowing HT would make a better effort. The head doesn't really articulate back or down very much which is disappointing but I thought the open eye sculpt would be worse than it is in hand. Paint apps are fine, no deep brown creases but hints of brown under layering. My Robe looks decent but will need stretching, also the paint apps on the base are extraordinary, HT is upping their game on diorama bases as we see with the new DX Sparrow. Just be careful handling/posing the head. There's really not all that much to it, but the closed eye sculpt and the additional posing options make it worth having IMO.

It's not bad at all. My biggest nit is the hair, as you can tell that the likely reason for the delay was they just slapped some rooted hair on him. However, the merely glued on rooted hair in this case still beats sculpted hair by itself, as the hair can at least be futzed a little bit to have somewhat of a wild look to it by just pulling a few upward here and there. As I also mentioned, the dirt effects in the crevices on his head are barely noticeable in hand. I also think he's perhaps a head too tall, but eh, not a big deal. I'm pleased with it.

I never took out any of the accessories nor the diorama base. Simply took the figure out, futzed, posed, put on the shelf, futzed with some more then put him back on the shelf, free standing next to Bespin Luke. Getting this figure inspired me to watch ESB again this evening and I took note of some futzing details. The hand that I believe is "supposed" to be the Force using hand is actually in my opinion a bit inaccurate to how his fingers were positioned in that scene, as I think the hand that I believe is intended to be used for holding his cane with one hand on top of the other, is actually more accurate to his finger positioning while using the Force in that iconic scene. Also, what I initially thought earlier regarding his flute necklace being tucked underneath his belt is inaccurate, as it's actually over.

Ordered mine Sunday night from Sideshow, shipped Tuesday, getting it today! I had reward points otherwise I wouldn't of ordered it from there since I'm in Canada.

Hey, my little guy looks just like your little guy. :lol Nice pic.

Took a second look this morning in great light and am even happier with it. Paint apps are key with me, I really wanted that mint green puppety Yoda look and this comes close enough. My biggest nit is the head will NOT tilt back. Best best is to articulate via the waist joint if you want him looking up but that doesn't quite cut it either. You can tilt the waist down and with the head down can almost get him looking at the ground, like he's disappointed with his pupil. Anyway, exploring posing options and how I want to display this guy but make no mistake about it, this is the Yoda I have been waiting for forever.

I noticed the same problem as pjam did with the neck. You can't quite get that force look like when he lifted the Xwing because his head won't tilt back much. Thinking about Dremeling a little bit of the upper back/shoulder area away to get more tilt.
