Was just coming on here to ask if his robe is supposed to be ripped on the sleeve and in back, but now I just saw other pics....thank god, didn't want to have to ship him back.

As others have mentioned, I also found that the sculpt doesn't tilt back very much, if at all. So acheiving this particular pose really isn't feasible:



How he looks in this particular frame is about as far back as it goes, so you can however, get him to look like this:

No, you're fine. The rips are intentional. If anything, the robe isn't tattered enough.

Yeah, he takes some fiddling but it's worth it. I spent a while last night trying to get him in a natural stance holding his cane without the right hand looking like he was doing a force-push.

I've put the Force head into the sideshow body. Easily done.
I thought the SS head was pretty good....until I got the HT version !!
Technically I have two HT Yodas on display for the price of one. If you ignore the original cost of the SS one!! Haha!!

Is how SS justifies shipping prices.

Kinda like the man who goes up to the counter at a corner store places his things on the counter and lastly grabs a lighter. Cashier says $4 for the lighter. Man says “$4 DOLLARS!!!” make a comment but buys it anyway!! That’s us folks!!!

Nice! With the way his cane is being held at a slight angle, the pose almost to me is reminiscent of the scene when he goes "Looking??? Found someone I would say."

I was just going with whatever came natural, it really was like, okay let me open this real quick and strike a pose.

I really like how he came out. Looks really good imo

it looks like everyone is going with the open eye head sculp over the closed eye sculpt. I wouldn't mind getting a second body for a force pose with the closed eye sculpt.
I think I have him now in a pose I like.

You're probably right to a degree. They definitely take full advantage of collectors and bend us over. Not just with shipping but also on the price of figures themselves. I know they need to make a profit but I wonder how much of an upsell they're getting after figuring in their markup and their ridiculous shipping (which we all know is out of whack for a big company like them).

I'm pretty sure that the box is normal sized. I actually had hoped it might be smaller for storage purposes. Probably one of my biggest complaints with this hobby is the boxes take up too much room.

Ordered mine Sunday night from Sideshow, shipped Tuesday, getting it today! I had reward points otherwise I wouldn't of ordered it from there since I'm in Canada.

Damn! Your in Canada and getting it that quickly! Mine was shipped yesterday and it's scheduled to arrive this Tuesday. I HATE how you can't request Sideshow to not have you sign for the package. I could have swore that they said if it's under $200 you didn't have to. Because I'm not available to sign for packages and live in an extremely safe neighborhood.

Get the UPS my choice app and you can authorize them to leave it that's what i do.

You have a $200+ Yoda figure at work?! lol - not me. I'm a security guard at Samsung/Alorica and it's crazy how so many people have $1000 worth of toys at their desk. No way in hell I would carry anything to work in fear that it would get messed with/stolen..or breathed on
