I fixed the neck articulation by dremeling out the haunch a bit and decided to pull the ears down to more closely match the scene. I had to sacrifice the hair due to getting it wet but I wasnt fond of it anyways so it was worth it. I may actually adjust the ears on the other sculpt a little too.

Thanks for that, it's nice to see what kind of articulation this body has going for it.

I'm also thinking we may see a Prequel Yoda sooner, than later just so they can reuse that body.

Also he looks like he's rubbing one out in the second picture.:lol

Damn! Your in Canada and getting it that quickly! Mine was shipped yesterday and it's scheduled to arrive this Tuesday. I HATE how you can't request Sideshow to not have you sign for the package. I could have swore that they said if it's under $200 you didn't have to. Because I'm not available to sign for packages and live in an extremely safe neighborhood.

SS has always been good to me when it comes to shipping.

"Or breathed on." Haha!! Priceless
I'm a teacher and I have several HT figures on display in my classroom and my office.
The kids love em. I usually have every new figure sent to school, so for a short time, every figure spends some time in a class or my office. Never had an issue, except once a cleaner knocked over Cap Am and busted the clip on the rifle. I just replaced it with a parted out rifle on line.

Great work, Coco, how did you do the ears, hairdryer and bend? Anyway, that is the pose I wanted to do, the Force Pose w DX07 Luke looking on. I may have to dremel the neck too, had a similar issue with my Rocketman that worked out pretty good.

God, I get this guy less than a day ago and I'm already anticipating "corrective surgery" :lol

But I think it'll be worth it looking at the results you got, Coco. Just terrific.

Thanks! I put a shallow bowl of water in the microwave for a minute or so then dipped the ear in it for ten seconds, shaped it then ran it under cold water to set it. Worked like a charm except once the hair got wet it just came right off.

You have a $200+ Yoda figure at work?! lol - not me. I'm a security guard at Samsung/Alorica and it's crazy how so many people have $1000 worth of toys at their desk. No way in hell I would carry anything to work in fear that it would get messed with/stolen..or breathed on[emoji51]
HA! :lol

My figures are just delivered to my work and they never spend the night. There's only a handful of people that works here and they all know about how not to breathe on my figures :wink1:

You sir, are brave, I would never trust a group of teens with these :lol

So the hair comes off that easy? Any residue leftover? I really dislike the flocked hair so would love to be able to just dip it and rub off.

Soon as I got it wet it just wiped right off like it was applied with spit. No residue at all and his sculpted hair is nicely painted underneath.

Im starting to the think the shipping delay was implemented in order to frantically glue hair on as an afterthought....

Sweet thanks for the info :hi5:

I plan on doing this as soon as I get mine. Reminds me of all those Ledger Joker customs where they glue the hair on. Not feeling it at all.

*Yoda voice* Very good....

I was going to pass on this figure because I didn't trust the durability of the glued in hair. Knowing that there is sculpted hair underneath the glued hair is making me reconsider this figure.

Lucky.

v1 is identified by the brown "mud" in the creases on Yoda's head and very 'straight' real hair.

v2 has no "mud" and more wavy 'real' hair, also the nose isn't as dark.

v3 clearly has better glue on the hair... will need pictures for other details.
